Exams

It was 11:50 P.M and within 10 minutes, the day of the final exam was gonna start. Kazuya was standing in front of an old abandoned locker with a note in his hand. He was sweating heavily with his heart beating very fast. He was afraid of what might happen if someone noticed him in the school at this hour. He hesitates, drops the note in the locker, and rushes out the door.
Following the examination, the results were announced. Yamamoto got first place and for the third time, Kazuya had ranked below Yamamoto. Everyone was clapping and cheering for Yamamoto whereas no one bothers to look at Kazuya's eyes reflection in which a large headed goblin with wide eyes was looming over the Yamamoto. The day ends and all the students soon leave the school. The next day, at the school assembly, the principal announces the sudden demise of Yamamoto after being run over by a bus on the way of going home. Kazuya runs to the men's toilet and stares at his palms which were covered in cuts from suppressing the anger and then hysterically laugh could be heard echoing. From that day, Kazuya began to get the first position. Thus one year passed and another final exam took place but he knows he is going to come first again. And so it happens. After finishing school, he was waiting at the crossing for the green light to turn red when suddenly he feels a push and before being run over by a truck, he saw the sinister smile of Harumi, who happened to get the second rank in the class.
