Presence

It was almost 7 p.m., and we were leaving soon for family dinner. we were just at the door, when I remembered I had left my phone in my room. I went to my room and told Mom to wait for me. As I opened the door, I don't know but in that dark room, I sensed something. I usually keep my room's lights on but that evening, it were off. The eerie atmosphere of the room was making my heart beat fast. I could not see clearly but for sure there was someone's figure. A figure which wants me to come in. But I couldn't bring myself to go any further. And my brain was telling me same.

After this incident, I could never sleep in my room with lights off.

Many years have passed since then and I still wonder who came to visit me in my room that day.......
