Hide & Seek

The night of 19th Sept. 2000 was a cursed night. At midnight, a small group of elementary school kids decided to play hide and seek, that group also had 2 sisters, Mimi who was 6 years old, and the other sister Nina who was 11 years old. The night was quiet and so dark that even the faces of kids were not visible to each other. The Streetlamps were not working fine and the kids were finding it quite thrilling. Mimi had a doll that could speak with the help of its recorded voice. The kids start the game and Nina hid behind a car, Mimi too followed her along. The seeker was finding every hider one by one, but he took too much time to find mimi and nina. Hidden Mimi became bored and started playing with her doll and pulls the thread. Because of the doll's voice, the seeker caught the sisters. Nina wanted to win the game but could not win because of Mimi and her doll so she angrily threw Mimi's doll in the dark far away and left leaving her alone. Mimi was crying but also searching for her doll, but she does not find it anywhere due to being too dark. The doll was lying under the shadow of a tree. Hearing the cry, an eerier hand comes out with long and sharp nails picks up the doll, and pulls out the thread from behind the tree. She can only see the shadow of the person behind the tree. With innocence she asks, " who are you? please give me back my doll !!" he pleads, " I have no friends !! Will you be my friend? Doubtfully she answers that she is not allowed to talk to strangers and wants her doll immediately !! With disappointment, he says If she wants it back then she has to come to him and take it herself. Reluctancy could be seen in her actions, so he again urges her by saying If she does not come to take that doll, he will keep it with him. Mimi screams, " No- No !! wait !! I'm coming !! She looks back once before moving forward, but she was the only one present there. As she approaches that tree, that human-looking shadow transforms into the Tetracles and drags mimi into the shadow. On the other hand, when others notice that Mimi is missing, all the children and elders try to find her together. Even after a week, mimi was found nowhere as if she has vanished into the air and her missing posters were glued to every corner of the town. After 20 years, many people have claimed to see a little girl walking like a doll at midnight. Her body looks like a doll and her face is of a human being. And with her recorded voice she would repeat this line " C-o-m-e !! a-n-d p-l-a-y h-i-d-e & s-e-e-k w-i-t-h m-e !!"
