Loki felt weird, it wasn't bad just...unpleasant, he couldn't quite place his finger on it which was even more frustrating, it was as if his body was trying to adapt to something which was starting to get weird, like something was trying to break out
he didn't know if it was a good thing or bad, he's a frost giant and an Æsir yes but anything could happen even to the strongest of people, and the thought of not knowing what was happening to him was starting to get alarming
you on the other hand were starting to get agitated feeling another presence in the tower, it wasn't certainly a person's presence but more of a conscious, like it's not really physical but there
your wolf was surprisingly excited, at first he was restless with the unknown presence around but now he was just full blow excited that you are constantly forced into a wolf by him
"frosty turned you again snowy?" of course your dad would use this opportunity to tease you as much as he could
you huffed In return, hiding your face in your huge paws "still don't know what's causing this?" you peaked from your paws to see nat sitting right at your face, you huffed right in her face hard as an answer

it helped your heart a little as Loki never left his room today and it's almost 2 p.m "hey big guy, still can't get into Shakespeare's room?" thor grunted in reply "that spell of his threw me across the hallway more than once" his answer intrigued you
you stopped running causing nat to bump into you, landing right on your back, you made a tiny noise of discomfort or most probable shock as everyone stopped what they were doing to look at you concerned
but that concern turned into amusement as they saw the sight, you ignored them, gently shrugging nat off you walked towards thor with a questioning look
"what is it young stark?" you couldn't really explain what it is that you were trying to ask him as your wolf took full control except your conscious so you couldn't really change back
he looked at you quizzically as you started whining at him frustratedly while the others thought it was adorable
halfway through your little complaining, you froze, sensing the other presence yet again and your wolf was waiting to take full control over you...it was starting to get frightening
you slowly turned around, feeling it getting closer, and stood your ground, controlling your wolf and holding him back "kiddo?" tony's worried voice went unnoticed as your chest ached for this unknown presence
"son of as what is the--brother?" thor stood up alarmed at how pale Loki looked, at the brink of passing out. you were more than shocked

"i..." it was getting hard to control whatever it is that's making him feel weird and it was terrifying "I don't know what's happening"
you felt drawn to him for whatever reason and started to whine as you slowly approached him
"love don't" he gasped out and that only gave you a more considerable reason to approach your mate as he was in clear distress
"ash wait!" you didn't listen to tony as you got even closer to him, loki got onto his knees, griping his chest with his face twisted in discomfort taking ragged breaths
you didn't know what to do in this state, your wolf is reluctant to let you change, it was very new of him to do so but with some effort you slowly forced yourself to change back, ignoring your wolf's whines
the minute you were on your knees you held Loki's face in your palms "Loki? my mate? tell me what's wrong" he grunted in reply, hiding his face in your chest, it was heartbreaking to see him this way
after a good 5 seconds, you heard him grunting and groaning in pain "tell me what you feel Loki please" your pleads went unheard by him and you were starting to get restless
"Friday do a full scan on loki" tony's voice was frantic as well
loki felt like he was underwater, his ear felt cloged, voices were muffled like a puddle, his chest ached for some unknown reason and his head felt terribly light making him incapable of thinking straight
he brought a hand to grip his head in sheer pain and screamed to the top of his lungs, he could feel his bones moving and growing, readjusting them to become something that he certainly has no control of anymore
everyone stood back and watched along with you as he slowly but sure grew wolf ears and soon enough a tail grew as well
it was mesmerizing to watch him turn into a true wolf, no shapeshifting but truly becoming one with it
and now you knew exactly where the other presence came from, you gave in to your wolf and let yourself change forms
loki was still on the ground, panting as small painfilled whines left his snout, his fur was a beautiful shiny black
his eyes were still closed so you weren't quite sure how they looked as you slowly approached him again, thor attempted but you shook your head, signaling him to wait
everyone was confused with what just happened "thor what's wrong with your brother?" clint asked, clearly horrified with what he just saw "I'm...I'm not quite sure"
"wait isn't he someone who can shapeshift? why did it hurt him?" thor purposefully ignored each and every one of their question, solely focused on his brother along with the thought of how his scream from earlier is going to haunt him for life
you let out a low growl, letting him know that your approaching him, it could either be him or his wolf and if it was his wolf it would be tremendously hard, there will be a fight if it wasn't loki
loki was still panting as he slowly moved, trying to get up but falling back onto his side with a low growl. clearly not liking this already
if you weren't a wolf right now, you very truly would have chuckled at his frustration
you gave a lower growl and that certainly got his attention, and that's when you saw it
beautiful piercing bright green eyes looking at you curiously, you lowered yourself onto the ground, not really sure who you're looking at, it could be Loki's wolf or it could be loki himself

for the team, it felt as if watching a staring contest, the both of you still on the ground, not making any movement
they didn't really know what to do but staying alert in case something happened, you decided to et loki take control, letting him to decided what should be done because you still couldn't determine what type of a wolf he is, it's like he still has control of he chooses to be
and for the first time, he made a tiny move towards you, you weren't an omega or a beta so wouldn't be able to calm an alpha down on your own, especially a new alpha
you carefully watched as he sniffed the air, you were playing a little guessing game in you mind with his tiny movements and so far all you could say is..
..this isn't loki
he's either unconscious from the pain or plain unable to take control....yet
your suspicions were right as he gave you a nasty growl, teeths baring at you for a fight
