The Broken Wolf ~2~ (male X Loki)

chapter 5

Loki felt miserable, the mark you made connected the both of you, so now Loki can feel the things you're feeling but since Loki hadn't marked you yet he can't fully feel your pain, only blips of it which are entirely frustrating

Loki was ordered to sit with the team in the living area while tony and bruce try everything in their power to find your location

thor had to carry him to which he protested greatly, but feeling numb didn't really help him but it did help thor

it was real silent as everyone continued to be deep in thoughts from the footage earlier "Loki" sam called out and waited for Loki to react but he just sat there numbly

Loki slowly brought his hand to the mark on his neck though, cherishing it slightly tearing up again

"Loki" nat called out this time, soft but loud, bringing him out from his thoughts, he wiped his eyes and looked at her, going to explain "I rea--" nat cut him off

"I know you don't know, but do you know any place that he would go to?" Loki took a deep breath, nat was nothing but understanding 

"We don't really go out of the tower so I wouldn't know..." Loki muttered and sighed, it was frustrating that he doesn't know the constant pull at his chest, it was killing him

he rubbed his chest and sighed, turning himself into a wolf he curled up on the couch, covering his face from their view

thor sighed and got up from his couch to sit in front of Loki on the floor, he slowly brought his hand and petted Loki's fur who in turn just huffed, kind of enjoying the attention 

"brother we won't know what's wrong unless you tell us" thor was desperate to help but just not sure how, look got up and walked to the big window

he placed a paw on it, howling in the process, a cry for his alpha "its the separation, the mark ash made just made things worst" thor explained, seeing Loki's behavior

"why's that?" steve asked, eyes staying on Loki's black figure

"a wolf's mating mark connects them, and makes their bond stronger, now for Loki not knowing his mates whereabouts frustrates him, in turn, he gets desperate" thor explained, only being able to watch as his brother wallows himself in guilt

tony and bruce came back 5 hours later with nothing "all the security cameras have been checked and none of them showing in which direction he left" tony sighed

"Tony?" tony's head snapped to the stairs to see pepper there "he pep" he sighed and waddled to her, placing his head onto her shoulder as she held her "we'll find him" her voice determined as she spoke those words

Loki has been howling his cries for you and hasn't left the window side in hopes of seeing your beautiful white fur, and just like all those times, he howled once more, it was the most painful one yet and the team glanced at each other in pity

pepper let tony go and made small steps to Loki, he heard the foots steps and immediately got up. everyone just watched as she slowly approached him

her kind eyes calming his pain-filled heart as she crouched down next to him, she looked into those beautiful emerald eyes and Loki laid back down, looking back outside

she joined him silently, resting her hand on his fluffy head, he snuggled close and soon his head  ended up on her lap as he let silent whines of pain that he feels in his heart

"I know, we'll find him" she whispered and continued to look outside along with him, the rest soon followed and sat around them, tony took a seat close to pepper and Loki, petting him as well, their trust for him was much stronger than before, so they truly feel bad what he's going through

the events of new york not forgotten, but they knew him by now, when he's ready they will get their answer

Thor doesn't know the reason behind his brother's vulnerability in front of the team, but he knew he would get his answer's soon as well

tony and bruce along with peter this time went back down to the lab to continue their search after like 10 minutes while the rest stayed with Loki

Loki didn't have the will to change back, his ass still hurts but not as much in this form, and nor did he want to change from being an omega, he can barely feel you and the thought of not being able to feel you at all after changing is even more terrifying 

it already feels as if his soul had been sucked away, he hates this, he needs you, and he needs you now.

Loki got up and whined, howling occasionally, trying to walk out of the window, everyone got up seeing his eagerness

"brother calm down, we'll find him" but Loki shook his head, sprinting for the stairs "Friday! lock the building, don't let him run out!"

and that's what happened, the lockdown alarm sounded. alerting everyone in the building 

the three came running into the living area minutes later hearing the lockdown "what's happening? where's Mr. Loki?" peter's voice went unknown as they were confused themselves 

"The tower's entrance, he should be there" bucky said and they all took off into a sprint to see half the workers and interns hiding, terrified of the big black wolf that's trying to get out of the building

"brother!" thors voice booming, trying to get Loki's attention "why is he behaving this way?!" tony yelled out, the team confused as ever "it's the mark! the connection along with the separation driving him mad, if we let him out and follow him we might be able to find young ash"

tony thought of it before discussing it with the team, but they couldn't do more with Loki's whining and howling "alright let's go, follow him don't let him out of sight"

with steve's words, they stood close to the door, not far from Loki, tony ready in his suit while peter in his along with the rest

"Friday" everyone stood at the ready with tony's word, pepper standing at a distance watching, unable to do more "unlock the doors" and as soon as Loki saw a tiny gap, he squeezed himself and took off into a sprint, running in a direction that was far too familiar...
