Chapter 3

Skip forward a few uneventful months, and we were packing for real. The next morning we were all being packed into a bus.

To most people, being crammed into a sweaty bus with three childlike friends and one that hardly ever talked unless she was around you would be a nightmare, but it was actually part of our dream. We WANTED to tour in a crammed tour bus, so we could sing for loads of people who cared about us!

After that day when it was just Daka and I in the garage, several more of our favourite people were announced to go on tour. People such as SayWeCanFly an Black Veil Brides! Obviously, as girls, the most fun thing we could think of doing was have a sleepover the night before your and talk about what we were going to do.

So Naomi, Skye, Kat, Daka and I sat cross legged on my bedroom floor, laughing and eating popcorn. We had music on, more specifically "the drug in me is you' by falling in reverse.

Though hanging out with my best friends was great, it was hard to have a nice time. I couldn't help but be worried, I couldn't help but think about the fact that if Naomi found out what we were up to, this would be the last nice day that we would have together off work.

Naomi looked at me an smiled. Shit. Having her smile like that just as I was trying not to be upset made everything so much worse.

"So Phoenix, what do you think?" asked Naomi.

I realized just then that everybody had been having a conversation and I had zoned out.

"About what? Sorry, I spaced out."

"Ah, what do you think my chances are with Vic from PTV this summer?" she asked.

"Fantastic!" I grinned. PERFECT! She was going to totally go out with Vic!

"Thanks! Daka, you and Jinxx from BVB would be SO cute!" Naomi gushed.

"Think so?" Dakota grinned.

They chattered on, and I was at ease.

But this was just one night. I wondered at that moment how the rest of the tour would go.
