Lottie highlighted the odd line here and there to make it look like she was studying, in truth she wasn't too worried about the out come, she didn't make it known like Spencer but she was smart, smart enough to be getting top marks in her classes.
"What did Noel say to you after the memorial?" Hanna asked Aria. Lottie perked her head up, finally something interesting she thought. "Oh yeah, what's happening with the two of you" Lottie joined in.
"We are taking the SATs in less than 12 hours. Can we focus? " Spencer asked.
"Okay, Spencer..." Lottie laughed, picking up the highlighter again. Hanna sighed, "you do not need to know any more big words. You're already scary enough".
"I'm not scary. Am I scary?" Spencer asked. "A little" Lottie and Aria said simultaneously.
"Hey, I saw Noel Kahn hug you. And he did not wanna let go" Hanna said not wanting to drop the Noel Kahn thing. "Talk about not wanting to let something go" Aria said. "Why can't you give him a chance? He's smart, he's cute" Hanna went on with herself. "his Dad owns, like, half of Rhode Island" Lottie smirked. "And he's got great lips" Hanna added. Almost chocking on the food Lottie gasped, "His father?". Hanna took a deep breath, "Noel. Ew. Seriously, Aria. You and Noel would look amazing together".
"Can we drop it? Please? I'm not looking for anything more than a friend" Aria said cutting Hanna off.
"Why? I mean, don't you have enough on Facebook? Besides, don't you want someone real? Someone you can, I don't know, scratch and sniff?" Hanna said. Lottie pulled a face and pushed her food away, "and now I'm full".
"Wow, maybe you should just eat that over the garbage" Spencer laughed, pushing Lottie's left over food over to Hanna. Hanna looked at little pissed, but gave in. "Okay, I am trying to help out a friend here. We don't all have smoking-hot boys from the country club".
"Maybe you should date Noel" Lottie poked Hanna's arm. She laughed nudging Lottie. "anyone you wanna starch and sniff?" Lottie laughed loud. Everyone looked at her, "Oh fuck, I've been waiting to tell you guys.
"Tell us what?" Hanna asked. She nodded her head pushing herself to speak. "In the name of being honest and I don't like giving A anything it can use over me". They looked at her waiting. "I kissed Jason" she said through gritted teeth.
"What?" They all said at once. "Over there" Lottie pointed over to Spencer's couch. "on my couch" Spencer said grimiest. "God" Aria breathed in.
"Was he a good kisser" Hanna asked with real interest. "He was alright" she winked, "I am obviously not doing well" she said what they were no doubt thinking.
Hanna hit the table smiling to herself, "That's why he kept looking at you". "Anyway" Lottie smiled. "How's it going with Alex, Spencer, not that I've had a chance to meet him".
