Almost sat in each others laps, laughing together Jude and Lottie flipped through a magazine, Jude reading out the ask Cathy section in a overly American voice, her southern accent sharper than ever. When it wasn't your own boyfriend, friend and family drama was actually funny. And the answers were even better. In the last little bubble something felt different.

Dear Cathy, I have a friend who I like like but everyone else thinks he did something bad but he didn't, how do I tell him and handle my friends and family - A.D

It could all be a coincidence from the situation to the initials, but coincidence weren't something that happened in her life. It was yet another reminder that A was always closer than she though.

"You okay?" Jude asked in her normal voice.
Lottie reread the section again, trying to convince herself A had no way of knowing she would even read it. She normal never even reads the ask Cathy bit but she remembered who did.

Hanna.

"Lottie?" Jude asked again.
"We're gonna be late" Lottie exhaled, throwing the magazine across her bed, jumping to her feet.

Jude stared at Lottie, frowning. Just how much more weird behaviour would she be able to do before Jude would start questioning her? Again she was lucky, Jude huffed throwing back her head, "great French with Miss Low".
She inwardly sighed relieved. "Oh yeah she's an hard ass".
"Even more when you're flunking".

"I could ask Spence help?"
Jude eyes widen, she pushed her hair from her face, "You think she would?".
Lottie frowned at her strange reaction, "I can call in a favour or two".

Lottie pulled the car into park, "I'll be fast, promise" Lottie smiled to Jude.
"Tell your boyfriend i say hi"
A scramble of words left her mouth, which would have added up to "he isn't my boyfriend". Jude laughed as a blushed Lottie left the car.

What had once been a mailbox was broken laying across the road along with the mail. Toby picked up what he could from the boundaries of his ankle monitor. With A hanging over her head more and more, she had stepped back from their friendship. And he needed a friend.
All she wanted to do was protect him, It was different now too, A knew about her feelings she hadn't fully said out loud and now A was trying to frame her and Spencer, it could be even worse for him if they got any closer.

Gathering the rest of the letters, she slowly approached him, when he saw her he smiled, jogging to get to him faster, before handing over the letter she wrapped her arms around him.

Back on her feet she stared at him, words were lost. She had missed him. "here" she swallowed handing over the letters, "How are you doing?".
"I've been worse" he shrugged. "Why are you here?".
"I wanted to see you" she was blushing again, difference was this time it was from guilt. "Jude is waiting in the car".
