It was the midsummers party today. You didn't hate the idea but you weren't a fan of it anyway. But you're mom on the other hand...
"Sweetie are you ready? We have to leave in 5." Your mom called from the living.
"Yeah I'm done. Coming" You yelled while heading down.
"You look stunning. But we're getting late let's go." Your mom said taking a picture of you and heading to the driveway.

On the way to the party somehow the only thing of your mind was rafe. You wanted to see his reaction to you all decked up. Y'all had a flirty relationship, but it never went anything beyond that. Not that you would have minded.
You kept trying to tell yourself 'I'm just going for mom' 'she really wants this to go perfectly'. But deep inside you were equally excited to seem him.
You spotted Sarah as soon as you reached. Your first thought was 'then I guess I'll see Rafe soon'. "You look great" You said approaching her. "Thank god you're here. And you're telling me look at yourself" I smiled.
I lost her after a while. I was roaming alone when I felt someone right behind me.
Turning to see him. Rafe. "I never thought I'd have the pleasure to see you in a floor touching dress" The first thing he said to you.
It obviously made you blush but you wouldn't show that. "I thought you liked it better when it ended above my knees" You asked smirking.
He leaned over to whisper. "I would like it best on my bedroom floor." Leaning back. "I just meant you looked gorgeous, rare to see you like this"
At this point you couldn't even hide your pink cheeks. How could he be so flirty and and be a gentleman at the same time.
"You don't look too bad yourself Cameron" We're the only thing you managed to say. Hiding the urge of wanting to just kiss him. But you would never be the first to break.
"Yeah? "
You started regaining your confidence. U placed one hand on his shoulder running in down along his suit lightly. "Yeah".
" Generally I get really witty comebacks. What's going on with you today huh? Are you sick or something. " He faked a concerned look for a minute but giggling.
God you loved that laugh. But he's right even you don't know what's going with you recently. You've stared missing him when you don't seem him for a couple days. You have the want to kiss him whenever he flirts with you. At first it was just fun. Of course it's still fun but you want more than just flirting but obviously you don't wanna be the first to give in.
Neither does he. He has felt attracted to you for as long as you can remember. And he loves the flirty relationship y'all have built after you stared getting close with his sister. But his desire to rip your clothes off just increases everyday. But of course he doesn't want to be the first to give in either.
Your parents call you both for dinner. (Just go with it) Everyone sits around the table. Sarah sits next to topper. Rafe sits next you. And both of yours parents on the other side of the table.
You felt like your heart kept saying 'put down your pride and just go for it' but on the other hand your brain went 'it's too risky, he's a known playboy. he'll ditch you in a day'
"Quit starring at y/n" Sarah said breaking you out of your thoughts.
You looked up at her noticing she was talking to Rafe. Rafe looked between his sister and you. "What- I wasn't- Shut up Sarah" He started stuttering, feeling embarrassed, getting caught by him sister.
You just looked at him and giggled lightly. While Sarah just shook her head and turned to topper. She could see how much her brother liked her best friend. Not that she liked the idea of them together at first but seeing the thirst in both of their for so long got her tired. Plus she knew you would be good for Rafe. And he lights you up so she wanted her dumb brother to make a move. But she couldn't do much, she just engaged herself in a conversation with topper.
You leaned towards rafe, whispering. "It's ok. I get why you were starring". You smiled.
Even though he was embarrassed he wanted to play it off. " Oh so you know your tits are great to stare at? " He whispered back.
That caught you off gaurd. You looked at him skeptically. "I'm just kidding love. I was looking at your oh so kissable lips. "
In that position you couldn't do anything but blush uncontrollably.
Your dinner came and everyone started their meals. While eating Rafe went to get something from the table but ended up knocking your glass over. The soda spilled right over ur chest and stomach.
"Gosh" You said. You heard a couple of gasps. You looked down to you dress. You were sure it would get stained. And it was a brand new one.
"Shit I'm so sorry" He started apologizing.
"Uh yeah it's fine. I'll just clean myself up a bit." You were still sad about the dress. Of course you knew your mom would sya it's fine and buy you a new one but you really liked this. And it took a lot of time to pick it out.
You stared getting up and excusing yourself. "Honey do you need any help. " You mom spoke up.
Sarah was just about to get up and come along with you. But she had a better idea instead. "Mrs. Y/l/n i think Rafe can help her. After all he spilled it on her. "
You glared at Sarah. What was she trying to do.
"Uh yeah definitely. I'll take care of her. Don't worry Mrs. Y/l/n"
He got up and stood next to you. You didn't fight it when you saw you mom give you smile.
Y'all walked to the washroom in complete silence which was a rare occurrence. Generally atleast one of you had some comment to make.
You walked in first stood in front of the mirror. Slid off both you straps and slid off the top half of you dress. Took a back of paper towels, wet them a bit and started rubbing at the stains.
Rafe just sood behind you stund by what he was looking at in the mirror. The top half your body was basically naked. Just in a bra. But you didn't even hin at first too focused on the dress.
