Moonshine- Thomas

"So there's about a double dozen guys and a single girl here?" The greenie asked.

"Yeah that's about right" Newt responded.

"So like is she like the princess around here or? "

"Oh not all." Newt chuckled "As much as we'd like to treat her softly she can slit our throats. And she will if you call her princess"

"Oh alright. So tough one huh?"

"She's gotta be tough greenie. She's been living with about 40 boys for the past 2years. She works harder than half the guys here so that no one call her delicate" Minho chimed in.

"That must be tiring. To keep up with your rough image when you're stuck in a place like this. "

"Yeah I believe it is. Hence she has one night every month where no one bothers her and she gets her relief on moonshine"

"Minho don't go there yet" Newt tried to stop him.

"Moonshine? " Thomas' usual curious self spoke.

"Gally's secret concoction. Don't ask what's in it cause we don't know. " Minho hands Thomas a jar filled with liquid.

The greenie looks towards the blonde for reassurance. While Newt just shrugs.

Thomas takes sip and immediately spits it out. "The hell is that"

"Bloody hell greenie" Newt laughs.

"You get used to it soon enough" Minho joins the laughs.

The bonfire is over and Thomas head towards the hammock he's been shown. When he hears something fall inside on the shack he was passing by.

His first instinct was to go in and check if everything was alright so that's what he did.

Only to find the girl looking to the ground at the shattered jar.

"Are you alright? "

"Huh? " She looks up. "Yeah yeah. Who're you? "

"Thomas"

"Oh ohh the new greenie" She said in slight slurred speech.

"Was that moonshine? " He asked remembering what Minho told him. She's gotta be high by the way she's talking.

"Oh yeah. You want some? I can get you some" She said about to step on the glass.

But before she could hurt herself he pulled her aside. "No it's alright. It tastes really bad anyway. "

He helped her sit on the mattress she had in her room. If you can call it a room.

"You don't seem in the best condition to meet new people. I'll introduce myself tomorrow" He walks towards the door to leave.

"You know greenie" Her words made him looks back to the girl laying down. "I was very upset when I saw you today. No that you did anything wrong. I just wish for another girl every month but it's never it"

Thomas didn't know how to reply to her. He barely knew her what could he say.

"But you're not that bad." She sat up. "Just please do me a favour and dont tell anyone what happened"

"Yeah of course. " And he stepped out of he shack with a smile on his face.
