Chapter 50

Jaden kissed Jae's cheeks all over till Jae woke up with a giggle. Jaden sighed as he laid on his side on the small bed. "G'morning baby, give me a hug".

Jae leaned over and wrapped his arms around his Dada, as well as his legs. Clinging like a baby koala. Jaden chuckled and kissed him on the forehead. "Come on bud, you need to get ready for kindergarten".

"No~".

"Okay, but I need you to listen to me very careful okay. Dada and daddy needs to go and see a very important lady today. Which means, grandma and grandpa is busy, aunt Lilly cant leave her campus and there would be no one to look after you today". Jaden explained he brushed Jae's hair to the back with his fingers. "Jae needs to be good and go play with his friends okay. And when I come get you, we can make anything sweet that you want".

"cookies?". Jae asked with sparkly eyes.

Jaden laughed. "Okay, cookies it is".

Jae sat his little body up climbing over Jaden to get to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Jaden sighed as he got up and followed Jae into the bathroom. "You know to brush in circles?". Jae nod his head putting the brush under the toothpaste dispenser and brought it to his little teeth brushing in circles. Jaden smiled as he went back to Jae's room to pick out a pair of denim dungree, and a yellow long sleeved sweater.

His little guy came running into the room hopping onto the bed. Jumping up and down as he waited for his Dada to pick out his clothes.

Luhan heard the knocks on the door while he was getting toast ready. He dropped the butter knife to open the front door.

Luhan blinked and greeted his mother in law. "Celia? What are you doing here? Did something happen-".

"No Luhan, nothing happened. I just came over because I wanted to speak to my son. We haven't spoken in a month. That boy can surely hold a grudge and I need to apologize to him". She cut him off quickly.

Luhan noticed the dark circles under her eyes. But he wasn't in the mood for any arguing. He just got into a good head space with Jaden. And Jaden said he was going to apologize to his mother. "Celia, now is not a good time. Well, it is but, listen, Jaden and I, we're on our way out to drop Jae off and to go see a marriage counselor. I'm not sure what mood he's going to be in and I don't want it to affect our meeting".

"So you guys are finally working on working things out? That's great, just send me a text when your session is finished. I'll be in the area". Celia said turning to leave.

Jaden and Jae joined Luhan downstairs to finish up breakfast while Jaden prepared a little bento box for Jae.

Jaden watched how Jae ate anything Luhan had to offer. And smiled a bit at how adorable their interactions were with each other. Luhan popped in a strawberry and Jae followed. He chuckled shaking his head as he closed the lid on the Tupperware. It reminded him of the time Luhan got back from his tour and got him to eat the purity without spitting it back out. His smile dimmed thinking of the events that took place afterward.

"Okay, we're ready to go". Jaden said zipping up the little bag.

Jae gave Jaden a little pout. His little brows coming together. "Cookies remember?". He dropped the pout immediately and stared at Luhan with his puppy eyes to pick him up.

Jaden rolled his eyes as he watched Luhan fall for that little nifty trick. He's not gonna lie, he allows it to happen with him sometimes where he'd give in. But attendance at the kindergarten where he was at played a major role. Or at least that's what he remembers at the parents teachers meeting he attended.
