Chapter 18

"I'll take it". Jaden said shaking her hand.

She gave him the keys and left the apartment to get the paperwork.

Jaden took a walk into the middle of the living room. Turning around to face Luhan with a huge smile on his face.
"This is perfect. Needs to be baby proofed but, it's good".

Luhan tool off his mask looking around nodding his head.
"It's not bad, but I still believe that you can stay at the dorm".

"That's not a good idea. We're going to need a baby room, and chucking someone out of their room is not a very nice thing to do. Here, we have a room available to turn into a nursery. And a master bedroom to get our freak on without having to constantly look over our shoulders". Jaden said trying to convince Luhan. Shaking the him at his sides with a pouting face.

"Okay, okay, I get it. I'm in".

"You are?!". Jaden said standing on his toes throwing his arms around Luhan's shoulders.

"Yeah, I can't convince you otherwise so, I'm giving in".

Jaden had a huge smile on his face and gave Luhan a quick peck on the nose. "I knew you'd come around somehow".

"Hey what about after you're done with the group, like somewhat retired. Are we going back to our house? I mean I just left it there".

"Yes! Most definitely, and it depends".

"On what?". Jaden asked confused as hell. They have to go back. It's their home. Specifically groomed to host a family. If they wanted to adopt maybe.

"My contract. It's no big deal.".

"Xiao Lu-Han, I don't know what to say to you about that, but I'm not going to let them rob me of you". Jaden said letting go of Luhan and gave him a pat on his shoulder as encouragement.

"Knowing you, I wouldn't put it past you to, make a way to just be with me all the damn time. I miss my space".

Jaden hit Luhan on the shoulder as they walked towards the door. "Not getting it cause you gained yourself a tag team". He said rubbing his flat stomach.

Luhan couldn't help but laugh.

1 month later

Jaden moved out of the a week after he got the apartment. Giving the guys their privacy cause, he just bombarded them in the beginning anyways.

He turned the new apartment into his own little palace. Did a little renovating so to speak. And Luhan often than not, found himself sleeping at Jaden's place.

"I'm telling you, things would be so much better if you just moved in with me". He said popping the pre-natal meds in his mouth.

"Not that simple". Luhan said giving him a glass of water.

Jaden rolled his eyes as he took a sip and swallowed. "So how's the guys taking my absence?". He put the glass down and grabbed his snuggie. He sighed into it and sat down on the couch.

"Better than I expected". Luhan said lying through his teeth. "Okay, a little upset. Especially Baek, the uncle to be was devastated".

Jaden laughed at that. "Oh my gosh, I wouldn't put it past Baek". "Let me guess, they're whining by you aren't they?".

"Yes! None stop! Please?!! Come back??!!!". Luhan exaggerated. Grabbing onto Jaden's feet.

"You want some hot chocolate?". Jaden asked pulling his feet away and slipping them into his flip flops. "I have some marshmallows to go with it". He said walking into the kitchen waiting for Luhan to answer as he took out two cups.

"Coffee?". He replied.

"Mmm...". Jaden putting on the kettle and coffee machine.

"But hot chocolate is too sweet. Are you sure your sugar levels aren't too high or something?".

"Really Lu?". He gave Luhan the durh look. Like pish...'I'm not and idiot look'. "Sometimes I wonder if you have a brain".

"Hey where's your phone?".

"Urhm... It's in the bedroom, why?".

"I actually wanna give your mom a call".

Jaden looked up from his marshmallow packet. "Don't you think about doing that. They are going to want to come here. We've talked about this".

"Because I'm actually legitimately scared now". Luhan got up from the couch to come and get the coffee. "You're pregnant now and honestly I don't know if I can live with myself if something actually happened to you and the baby. So why not have hands here, since you don't want to be at the dorm with me and the guys-".

"No, my answer is always gonna be no. We moved out of their place after 4 months Lu. 4 freaking months. And we've bought a house and proved we can take care of ourselves countless tim-". Luhan put a finger to Jaden's mouth.

"Just let me talk? Look, it's fine if she doesn't show up now. That's not what I meant. But what I do know is that she raised two kids, you and your devil sister Lilly. She knows the ins and outs of parenting. Let her help you". Luhan made his argument.

Jaden sulked.

Then he frowned. "Why did everything that just come out of your mouth sound like a pre recording of my mom?".

Luhan scratched the back of his head. "Urhm...".

"You went behind my back?! LuHan!!". Jaden said disappointed in him. Slapping his arm.

"I, you didn't give me a choice either. I want to not stress when you're alone here, in this apartment".

"You're just down the street! It's not a big deal. You're a phone call away!". Jaden said annoyed. Putting three marshmallows in his mouth. "Fwuhking phell". He wallowed in his sorrows.

"I did it as a precaution. Like, I might not be here when the baby comes, the tour remember".

Jaden stopped everything and swallowed the marshmallows that was meant for the hot chocolate to look at Luhan. "You're not gonna be here?". His entire plans of them having the baby ruined. "Lu this is our baby we're talking about here. You can't miss it".

"That is why I spoke to your mom. To help you, and I feel bad enough as is already".

"I told you not to tell her either and you told her before the 5th month mark? What the hell?! I can't believe you right now!". Jaden fumed grabbing the cup forgetting there's hot chocolate in it. Burning his fingers. He hissed before putting it under running water.

" Shit let me take a look at it". Luhan said running around the counter and took his hand to inspect. "It's a little raw, but we can put on some ointment and bandage it up". He said pulling the first aid kit out of the cupboard.

Jaden who was still in a bad mood looked at Luhan wrapping his hand. When Luhan fixed him up he looked at Jay who was on the verge of crying. "I know Jay, I know, it sucks ass big time and I'm sorry for it".

"Do you have to go? I mean can't they just let you sit this tour out?". Jaden asked almost whimpering.

Luhan shook his head no. "I will try my best to make it when we're done in time I promise okay".

"This really sucks ass. You suck right now". Jaden said pouting looking at how neat his hand was wrapped.

"You want me to suck you off?".

Jaden looked up so fast. "Are you bribing my feelings right now?".

"Urhherhhh, kinda? Is it working". Luhan said leaning forward to kiss Jay's good hand.

"Jerk".
