Chapter 28

Jaden sighed when they reached his apartment. He kept the door open for Luhan to come through with a sleeping baby Jae.

He put the baby seat on the kitchen counter, slowly taking off the blanket. Luhan took a peak to see if the little guy was still asleep.

He took out his phone to take a picture, he'll have to show the guys later.

Jaden smiled walking around the counter. He needed coffee. "You want some coffee?".

"Yes, please. I need it. Cause when I go home to the guys they are going to bombard me with questions". He said sighing, as he tucked the blanket neatly.

"They really want to come over don't they?".

"Yes but, not today. We just brought him home. A few more days maybe. I don't want them to come and spoil the mood, of us bonding as a family, and as a team". Luhan said pulling back the cover of the baby seat. He gave Jae a kiss on the forehead. He loved the smell of baby. Which is odd but then again it's his DNA that has him feeling like this.

"They don't have to wait that long, the sooner we get them off our backs the better. They can come over tomorrow". Jaden said pouring the coffee into the coffee mug. Handing it to Luhan. "You're doing it too?".

"What?". Luhan asked confused.

"You can't get enough of him, like burning a picture inside your brain of every little detail". Jaden said wrapping his arms around Luhans waist as Luhan turned to face him. "I'm sorry for being difficult. I know you meant good. Thank you Luhan. And I love you, both of you".

Luhan craned his neck as he placed his hands on Jay's cheeks, kissing the breath out of him. Not wanting to stop when he felt Jay's arms go around his neck.

Both stopped when they heard a fussy baby wanting to cry. Jaden pulled away to take a look at Jae who's pacifier fell out of his mouth. He put it back in, and the soothing sound of sucking on the pacifier filled the room. He sighed. Looking at Luhan before they both gave off soft laughs. "I think you should put him down on the bed. Make sure to put the pillows around him so he doesn't roll or fall or something".

"What? I can't do that". Luhan said giving Jaden two big eyes filled with fear.

"Relax, I'm gonna show you so that next time, you can do it on your own". Jaden said taking the car seat gently off the table and walked to his rooms silently.

Luhan walked into the dorm. Giving a long sigh before scratching in the fridge. He took out the food neatly wrapped in a bento box with his name on it. He smiled knowing Kyungsoo was behind it.

"So how was it?". Sehun said eyeing Luhan up and down.

Luhan jumped. Turning around nearly dropping the food. "Jesus! Gave me a heart attack".

Sehun raised a brow.

"If you must know, we got to take him home. He's sleeping peacefully. He's just the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me. He's so tiny-".

"Mmm.. And to think you didn't want him not so long ago". Sehun stopped him from gushing any further.

"That's true, but... everything has changed. I'm much more in love with Jay, and the baby, seeing them together, my family, that's that's heaven to me". Luhan said looking at the kitchen counter.

"Well, no use I'm sour over anything anymore. Congratulations hyung. Really". Sehun said with a tight lipped smile before he went to his room. Not before shouting "Guy's, Luhan's back". Everyone came out of their rooms.
