Chapter One- Who?

"Ugh, I feel horrible."

My body feels sluggish and weak. It seems to take a lot of energy to move my body. I'm struggling to open my eyes.

"Oh My Gosh!! My Lady is awake!!!"

A shrill voice rings in my ear. I hear shuffling movement. My blurry vision soon turns clear when I blink my eyes a bit. A pretty girl is hovering in front of my face.

"My Lady! Are you okay? Are you feeling alright?"

Bright green eyes meet up to mine as I take in the sudden change in scenery. The green eyes are filled with worry and the pretty girl seems to be struggling not to cry. What's going on? Who is she? Where am I?

"Uh, who are you?" I ask the girl.

The words bring shock to the girl's face and she quickly bursts into tears.

"My Lady, it's me, Annie! Don't you remember??" No, I wouldn't have asked if I knew. My face reflects my confusion. "Oh! What do I do?"

The pretty girl starts to ramble as she fumbles her hands in worry and frustration. As she is busy in her thoughts, I take in the full view of my surroundings. I seem to be laying in a bed. Quite comfortable I might add. The room is white with light pink furniture. It seems to be a girl's room. The room is heavily decorated with books and stuffed animals laying around everywhere. The owner of this room seems to be fairly well off and slightly spoiled with all of these stuffed animals. I turn back to the pretty girl, still lost in her thoughts about this particular situation. She seems to think I am her "Lady". I cough slightly to get her attention.

"So, Annie, who is your Lady? And where am I?"

The girl whips her head towards me, her eyes still filled with tears. She looks at me with worry.

"My Lady, do you really not remember? This is your room! You are my lady! Lady Marishia Moarishe! Of Moarishe Dukedom! Oh! I need to notify the doctor! This has never happened before!"

After rapid firing her responses, she rushes out of the room, most likely to get a doctor. My room? Lady Marishia? Dukedom? Who and what are these names? What the heck is going on?! My mind is confused, what is going on? I remembered playing a game then waking up to the current situation. I start to panic, What is going on??? Why can't I remember anything?? What is happening??

My head starts to hurt from overthinking and I feel woozy from hyperventilating from my panic. My body is still weak and I feel sleep wash over me as I hear footsteps rushing into my room.

"Doctor, please check on my lady! She....."

The pretty girl's voice drifts off into the void as I fall into a deep sleep.
