Sam's POV

I looked at Florence with wide eyes, I've seen some of her family from picture frames and I've seen one of her sisters on FaceTime when Florence is talking to her and I pass by. I know of her brother Toby from his music, but other than that I know none of them. Florence put her hand on my knee and rubbed it lightly.

"We don't have to go if you don't want to, I can say I've got a lot of work to do for a new movie" she smiles kindly at me.

"No no, I want to go. I'm just nervous that's all" I smiled at her and laid my hand on hers.

"Are you sure?" I nodded my head and kissed the back of her hand.

I pulled up in my driveway and turned off the car

"What are we doing here?" Florence asked getting out of the car. I follow her lead and close my door

"Well I need to get a few more things, we can work on moving all my stuff in over the weekend" I smiled and unlocked the door

"When is your mom leaving?" She asked as she stepped through the door

"Thursday afternoon, so Tracy will be out of here Thursday evening" I walked in behind her and closed the door. She nodded her head and made her way to the kitchen.

"I'm getting some water do you want some?" She shouted from the hallway.

"Oh yes please! I'll be up in my room come up when your ready!" I shout back as I take off my shoes and slip off my coat.

I walk up the stairs and open my bedroom door. It was quite clean, the bed was made and Tracy kept her clothes folded nicely in a suitcase. I opened my closet and take down a suitcase and a bag from the top of it, I started putting clothes and there needed things in the suitcase.

"It looks like your running away" Florence laughed, her voice coming out of nowhere.

"I mean I kinda am" I chuckled and kissed her cheek.

"From what? Your family or your problems?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around my waist and put her chin on my shoulder. I loved when she hugged me from behind, it was so comfortable. I muttered something under, not wanting her to hear it.

"What was that?" She looked up at me with her eyebrow raised.

"Nothing" I looked away packing more things in my suitcase.

"Nope. Don't do that. Tell me" she walked in front of me and crossed her arms.

"The world," I said looking down at my hands.

"That's what you're running from?" She asked, making sure that's what I mean. I nodded my head and walked out of my room down to the living room, I grabbed the picture of Jack and me, walked back to my room and laid it gently in my bag.

"There's no need to run anymore Sam, I'm here for you and I won't be going anywhere" she took my hands in hers and smiled at me. She looked at my bags, then back at me.

"Is all you need for now? I don't want to rush you but we do need to get ready to leave soon" she dropped my hands lightly and kissed my head. I nodded and brought my bags out to the car so they can be put in the trunk.

We were on our way to Florence's parent's house. To say I was nervous was an understatement. I was holding Flo's hand on the gear stick she was caressing my knuckles with her thumb. Her phone started ringing.

"Hey" she smiled brightly
"Hey sis"
"Everything ok?"
"I really hate meeting your girlfriend but I have a busy schedule and can't make it to dinner"
"Oh ok. That's fine, there's always next time!"
"I've gotta go now, sorry again. I'll make it up to you guys I promise"
"It's ok, yeah. Ok. Bye. I love you too" Florence hung up the phone and looked at me.
