Girl or Boy

This was day 2 of Emily and Meredith not coming back. They are coming back tomorrow but before they are going to find out the baby's gender.

No one Pov:

So Meredith and Emily went to the hospital and the baby is a girl. Meredith and Emily were so excited but Emily was dealing with her own problems she could not let go of Amelia dying. She is trying so hard not to hurt herself or do drugs mostly for the baby's sake but also because she does not want to die but she wants to not feel it anymore.

Callie Pov:

I went into a supply closet and found Emily sitting on the floor with her hands over her eyes sobbing. I don't even think she noticed I was there. I then just sat next to her and rubbed her back solemnly not knowing why she was crying she then said "A patient asked for Amelia b-but she is not here" she then went back to sobbing. I told Meredith and Arizona that I needed to take Emily somewhere and I told Bailey we both need the rest of the day off. I drove her to Amelia's favorite spot a beach downtown on the way there she asked "where are we going" repeatedly and all I told her was "you will see" we drove up to the beach and she obviously has not been there since Amelia died, she kept saying "no no I am not going there" but eventually she agreed to get out of the car and I decided to stay in the car because she needed to figure this out on her own. Then I remembered all the memories we made at this beach.

What Callie was thinking about

but I had to focus on Emily then I finally heard her talk because my window was rolled down and Emily sat on the dock and then talked "well Amelia.." she cried but then talked again "I don't believe in heaven or that your here with me but uh I love you. you were funny, and smart, moody and maddening, beautiful. I loved you, I loved you so much. And I ask you every day why you did what you did. But I get no answers. You took those with you when you went" then I felt tears form in my eyes but I had to keep them in for Emily's sake. Then Emily talked again " Leaving... all of us, angry, empty, confused and I know that hurt will never go away. But there will come a day that I don't feel it every minute. The anger won't be so hot and the other feeling will fade and I'll only be left with love,  you once said to me " I can love someone and still let them go". So Amelia I love you and I let you go". Emily sat there for minute and then stood up and joined me in the car. I asked "are you okay" she then nodded and said "I let her go" she had a single tear go down her cheek and I wiped it with my thumb. And said "you did good kid" she hugged me. 

One week later

Meredith Pov:

I heard Emily in the kitchen with Leo and they were singing " She ain't got no money, her clothes are kind of funny, her hair is kinda wild and free" I started to record them, then she said, "Leo this is your part" she started it off "Oh but love grows where" then Leo chimed in "where my Mama goes" then she started again "but nobody knows like me". I laughed and walked in the kitchen and Leo said, "Mama ups" so I picked him up and Emily said "I have the day off work, but you have to work so I am thinking about just going in" but then I said "no you need a break you have been working every day and you need to relax it is good for the baby" then she nodded sadly "fine". I got ready for work I hugged Leo and kissed Emily and I was on my way. I got to the hospital where I was met with Callie and Arizona, and they asked, "where is Emily?" I just said "she needed a day off" I then got a message and it was a picture of Leo and Emily and I smiled

I then showed Callie and Arizona and Callie said "she looks happy I am glad to see that she is happy I nodded, and I then showed them the video of Leo and her singing and they said "they are the cutest and they equally love you a lot I can see that" I said "hey really do don't they".

A few days later. 

No one Pov:

Emily and Meredith had decided on a name for there baby girl Everly Blake Grey-Robbins. And they were working on the nursery and it just got done.

Which means they had to move Leo out, so this is what his new big boy room looked like and this is exactly what Leo wanted

Emily Pov:

I walked into the hospital, and I saw Meredith and I said, "can you come here it is urgent" and I dragged her into and on-call room. And I started kissing her then she said in between kisses "this is urgent?" and I said "yes, it is the stupid pregnancy hormones they make me wanted to have sex all the time urgently" then Meredith mumbled "I like the stupid hormones" then I got paged and I said, "oh no, I have a consult" then I started crying then Meredith asked "what"? "I have a consult" then she asked "are you crying"? "No. yes, I cry every time I get mad" then she said "wait your mad" "yes, I am mad because I can't have sex because I have a stupid consult" then there was a knock at the door it was Ross "Dr. Grey-Robbins" he said "Ross" Meredith said "I am sorry to bother you ma'am but I was hoping to scrub in with you today, and I am supposed to be on the other Dr. Grey-Robbins service. Soo I was wondering maybe you could talk to your wife for me" I then stopped crying and said "I am gonna kill him" then Meredith grabbed my hand but I yanked it away and I opened the door. "No Ross, She cannot talk to her wife for you, because you are with me, and we have a consult with a pregnant lady in the pit so go do the workup and I will see you there" I said and he looked shocked. I then walked over and kissed Meredith again and walk out then I heard Meredith say "I like the stupid hormones".
