Sidharth's pov -
I clenched my fist as shehnaaz narrated the whole incident .
That bastard . I m not going to spare him .
Mom seated herself on the stool beside shehnaaz's bed and slowly careessed her forehead .
"Meri bachi ... Tu thik hai na beta " asked Mom .
Shehnaaz smiled softly and replied
"Haa mai thik hoon ...aap please aise roe mat mujhe acha nahi lagta " .
Just then there was bang and the door of the hospital room opened revealing Preeti Di with Riya .
"Preeti di !!! " Shehnaaz said .
"Shehnaaz ... " Preeti di ran towards her .
"Thik hai na tu ???? Tereko kaha tha na jaldi nikal jaana phir kyu late gayi ? Meri he galati hai mujhe tere saath ruk jaana chahie thaa " said Preeti di while tears flowed from her eyes .
Is she crying ?
Wait
Do they two know each other ?
Well i guess i am missing a lot of things .
"Aap dono jaante ho ek dusre ko? " I asked looking at Preeti and then at shehnaaz with my questioning gaze .
"Ha hum dono ek he jagah kaam krte hai ..." Replied Preeti .
"Oh colleagues " i said smiling .
"Naah shoti behn jaise hai voh meri ...aur chal tu chup kr " said Preeti di smiling at shehnaaz who had this genuine smile on her face.

This girl has gotten really close with my family .

There was another thud and the door opened this time revealing the doctor with the sister .
"Pls aap log bahar jaao ... Doctor ne patient ko check krna hai " Said the sister .
I didn't know but i kept on standing there until mom said
"Chal sidharthhhhh ...idhr he khada rahega "
"Ha ha .. " i replied and moved outside with my Shukla Family .
Riya came and hugged me . I caressed her hair and kissed her on her forehead .
Mom looked at me .
She was smiling mischivously .
Dear God please help me out from my mom .
I m sure she' s thinking something .
We all moved in as the doctor called us .
"Dekhiye shehnaaz thik hai vse ab ..kafi bahadur ho aap beta " said the doctor who was in mid fiftees smiling looking at her .
"Bhagwan ka shukar hai saer pr jyada gehri chot nahi aae ... Pr jaise aapko malum he hai inki right arm fracture hai aur thik hone mein 1 - 2 months lag sakte hai ... Toh aapko Inka pura dhyn rakhna hoga .... " Continued the doctor .
"Ha ha doctor .. koi baat nahi mai dhyn rakhuga Inka " I replied immediately .
From the corner of my eyes i could see shehnaaz's face that heated up .
Preeti gave mom a questioning look while mom smirked in return .
Like did i say something I wasn't suppose to say ?
Ahhhh i don't think so . Its just that my whole family is weird . I mentally rolled my brown orbs .
Like she's here alone . She has no one in her family here who could take her of her so it is me i mean US who has to take care of her .
Isn't it ?
"Thik hai toh phir shehnaaz aap aaj raat yahi raheye...aur agar kal aap thik rehti hai sb ...tests wagara sab thik hote hai toh aap ghar jaa skti hai " said the doctor and left .
Mom looked at me and said
"Sidharth tu yahi ruk shehnaaz ke paas aur mai Preeti aur tere papa ( Riya bhi obviously ) ghar jaa rahe hai ... Shehnaaz beta mai tere liye khaane ke liye kuch laati hoon ... " Said Mom .
"Nahi Maa mujhe bhukh nahi hai.. aap kyu aise he meri vajah se " shehnaaz said but Preeti didn't let her complete
"Haye shehnaaz tu bhut buri hai ...ek taraf tu unko maa aur mujhe di bolti hai aur dusri taraf aise strangers ki tarah behave krti hai " Said Preeti scoffing and showing her Fake anger .
Shehnaaz made a sad pout and said
"Nahi vo baat nahi hai ... "
"Toh phr tu kuch nahi kahegi ...hum abhi aate hai beta " mom said caressing her hair .
She looked at me and give me a known smirk .
Mooooommmmmmmmm
With that both my parents along with Preeti And Riya left the hospital leaving just me and shehnaaz .
The air around us was awkward .
Like really what's the reason of this awkwardness !!!!!
I mentally rolled my eyes .
Clearing my throat so as to gain her attention i spoke
"Shehnaaz mai ek minute abhi aaya ...paani leke ... Tum aise laeti hue thik ho na ..mera matlab tumhe kuch chahie toh nahi ? " .
"Vo ... Laete laete meri back dard kr rhi hai .. mujhe baithna hai ..Tum...T-Tum help kr..doge ? " She asked .
I pulled the stretcher up and made her sit comfortably .
Let's skip the tingles that i felt when our hands touched .
"Mai abhi aaya !!" I said and walked out of the room .
The first thing i did was to get one mineral water from the canteen and secondly i dialed the commisioner's number who was a known to me .
I told him regarding the whole thing that had happened .
The commisioner said that he wouldn't waste a moment and let the officers to work on the case . I thanked him and disconnected the call .

Dekh le shehnaaz vo kitna acha hai . Usne meri jaan bachae . Agar vo nahi aata toh pata nahi mai Zinda bachti bhi ya nahi warna jitni sunsaan jagah thi pata nahi kisi ko mai milti bhi ya nahi
Aur maine kya kiya usko yeh bhi ni bataya ki hum DOST hai .
I could hear the footsteps approaching and the door opened revealing sidharth .
He poured some water in a glass and gave it to me .
I held the glass from the left hand and tried to drink it but failed miserably until his cold hands touched my fingers that had wrapped around the glass .
We had an eye contact and he made me have it .
He smiled as i drank the water hurriedly as i was really thirsty . I smiled back geuninely.
"Sidharthhhh? " I called him who had his back facing me as he kept the water bottle and glass on the table.
"Ha ? " He said turning around and facing me .
"Thankyou sidharth " i smiled brightly . I guess i never smiled so warmly .
