Rita Maa's pov -
As soon as I got inside the house. I threw my dupatta and tugged it onto the wall key and hurried inside the kitchen followed by my lovely daughter Preeti .
Preeti had this confused look on her face for the whole time . Though i didnt saw her as i was too busy in preparing the porridge for my another daughter who's currently lying on the hospital bed but from the corner of my eyes i knew that preeti was lost somewhere else .
I didn't asked nor did she spoke .
I was making the food while she helped me silently .
I spoke at last not able to take in the silence anymore .
"Why do you seem so lost Preeti ? "
I asked as i had put some vegetables in the hot pan .
" I m thinking something " she replied adding some elachi in the chai that was being prepared for sidharth's father .
"That i know but what is it ? " I asked .
"What's cooking inside your head mom ? I could sense that something is fishy !!!! " Said Preeti turning towards me .
I smiled knowing where the conversation was actually heading but i had just liked to hear it or perhaps confirm it from her mouth .
"Regarding ? " I asked raising my eyebrows still not looking at her as i was very busy in preparing the food .
"Sidharthhhh!!!! " She said .
"Or to be more precise regarding sidharth and shehnaaz " said Preeti raising her eyebrows .
This time i had shifted my gaze from the gas stove to her .
I smiled and said "they look good together "
" Mommmmm!!!!! Sidharth will never say yes . " Said Preeti .
"Why ? " I asked .
"Apko pata hai uske kitne nakhre hai . Kaha usko koi ladki psnd aati hai " said Preeti .
"Ha ha pata hai pr shehnaaz toh usko bhut psnd hai " i said winking at her .
"Acha ji aur apko kaise malum . Sidharth ne bola aapko ? " Preeti .
"Aree vo kidhr kuch bolta hai .pr mujhe pta hai aj naahi toh kal inke beech mein kuch na kuch toh khichdi pakne wali hai .
Tereko malum ek din mai raat ko uthi thi ...tere papa medicine Lena bhul gaye thee aur room mein paani nahi tha .. toh mai kitchen mein jaa rahi thi aur tereko pata maine kya dekha ? Tu manegi ni !!!! " I said .
"Kya ? " She asked curiously .
"Sidharth coffee bana raha thaa !!!" I said .
"Kya mummmyyyyy " Preeti rolled her eyes .
"Vo bhi 2 cup " i said .
"Hai sachiii ? " Preeti asked .
"Aur kya ...aur tujhe toh pata hai Sidharth khud ke ilawa kisi aur ko paani ka glass tak na de aur kisi ke liye coffee baannaa ...tu smjh rahi hai na !!! " I said .
"Ha mummy mujhe bhi lgta hai shyd ab mereko mere bhai ki shadi mein naachne ka mauka mil he jaega " Preeti classped her both hands .
"Ha mujhe lgta hai yeh dono saath mein waqt bitaege ...toh inmein understanding hogi aur shyd vo kya bolte ho tum log ... Love shove vo bhi ho jae " i said .
"Dekha tha sidharth kaise bol raha tha aj mai iska dhyn rakhuga " said Preeti .
"Ha ha ..tabhi toh maine usko udhr rehne Diya . " I told her the truth .
