Not only friends? Yoru x Phoenix (Valorant)

Chapter 3

In the hallways it was pretty quiet. He could hear some bird chirping but nothing else. Phoenix made his way further to Yoru's room. His walk speed was slowly. A little bit hesitant. Well, he was just pretty nervous to go in his room. The duelist didn't want to face a angry Yoru. But he already stood in front of his door. His heart beat got faster by seconds. The reason why he didn't know. Just the steady breath also got faster. 'Why is my heartbeat so fast suddenly?', it was pretty weird because he never had that when he was talking or thinking about the boy in the room. 'I get this fuzzy feeling around him', he just tried to ignore it. He raised his hand and knocked a few times and lowered it again.

Inside the room the boy heard the knocks. 'Who is knocking on my door?', he groaned. The rift walker wanted to stand up and open the door but his back was suddenly sore. He couldn't stand up without to feel the pain in his back. On the other side of the door Phoenix could hear a groan. 'Is he fine?', the groan really made him worry more. "I'm going to come inside, Yoru", before the boy in the room could answer his door already got opened by a certain person. Yoru wasn't exactly mad seeing him just coming inside but in the other hand he also didn't want to face him now. The eyes from Phoenix mustered Yoru's body. Since he was starring at his figure he saw how well build he was, even tho with clothes on. The figure from Yoru made the other boy in the room blush. Jamie just looked in the other, where Yoru's family picture was. On this picture was a woman, a man, a small girl and a boy with his hair up also with blue stand. The boy was a little taller than the girl. He called pretty similar to Yoru. 'Maybe it's because of his hair or it's Yoru when he was younger?', he questioned himself.

It was silence. Yoru caught Phoenix staring at him but since he looked away he tried to stand up again but failed again, falling back on his ass. "Hey bruv, is that your family on the picture?", he guesses since the boy with the black blue hair looked alike Yoru. The firebird didn't got an answer so he turned around. There was Yoru, still on the floor with an pained look on his face. "Wow, wow. Are you okay?", he jogged over to the boy. "M-my back hurts", he brought out and groaned in pain again. "Mate, try to relax I'll put you down on your bed", he said softly and smiled at the other boy. Yoru saw his smile and had to hide his pink cheeks. "Well, lets carry you then", he said, lifting the other carefully. The only thing he had to do is turn around and place him in the bed and that's what he did. Slowly and carefully he let him down on the soft sheets but to Yoru's surprise he also sat next to him, after putting him down.

Jett in the other hand could hear their conversation from outside. She really had to hold her laugh at how carry her best friend was to Yoru. What she knew is, that she will definitely tease him about Yoru. As she slowly stood up, she saw Sova chatting with Chamber. 'Well something new. Never saw Sova with that french baguette dude', she wanted to let them by themselves but before she could do anything Sova had called for her. "Hey Jett, wanna join us?", he waved at her. "Sure", she said as she also nodded her head and made her way over to them. The two boys were sitting on the grass as the girl just was about to sit down, when Brimstone called them. "Mates, Cypher just informed us that the kingdom is attacking icebox again", he said breathing heavily since he ran all the way to them. "Can you , Sova, call all agents together in the meeting room all ready, for the mission", he continued. "Will do, sir", Sova stood up. "Well, that's good I need to go again", after that the captain jogged away again. "See you in the meeting room then", he smiled at them and jogged over to the agents rooms. Each off them were in their own room. Only Phoenix didn't open his room. "Phoenix? Are you sleeping again?", he questioned a little annoyed. No answer. 'That idiot', he opened the door but nobody was inside. 'That is pretty strange', slowly he closed the door again and made his way to the last agent, Yoru. Sova knocked at the door and spoke with an annoyed voice. "Yoru we have an mission. Get ready as soon as possible", no answer again. He groaned.

The door got kicked open. Yoru and Phoenix looked at the door. There stood Sova with an shocked face. Phoenix blushed. The two boys where in a pretty awkward position. Yoru on his stomach, shirtless and Phoenix on top of him. He was just giving a massage for the other boy to relax but now Sova found them in this position. "Uh, Brimstone said we have a mission so please get ready as soon as possible", he smiled awkwardly and made his way back to his room to get ready. Phoenix still sat on top of Yoru with his red cheeks. Yoru had slight pink cheeks but his ears were red out of embarrassment. "I-", Phoenix stopped. He just couldn't look Yoru in the face it was something so pretty but he didn't want to make his relationship between him and the boy awkward. "I'll see you there then", still not looking in the others boy face he made his way back to his room. The boy on the bed just watched him walking out. The tension was really awkward but on his mind was still Phoenix red face when they got caught in the position.

In the meeting room everyone was ready only Yoru hasn't come yet. "Where is Yoru?", said Brimstone harsh. "Here", Yoru just came in the room his ears were still a little bit pink. The rift walker saw Jett whispering something in Phoenix ear and he blushed after that. Even if he was desperate to listen to their conversation he knew it wasn't nice. So he just sat next to him. "Let's begin now", said the captain and looked around if everyone was listening to him but he started anyway. He was speaking about the mission but Yoru wasn't really listening, he just thought about how cute and handsome the boy next to him looked when he was blushing. "Well Yoru and Phoenix your going to icebox. Team, you know what to do. The rest, you are dismissed", like this he ended this meeting. Phoenix and Yoru made got their weapons and made their way to the jet that was already ready. They didn't spoke since the scenario in Yoru's room. The silence was loud for Yoru but he didn't show how awkward it was for him. Phoenix however liked it, that they were send to the mission together. His stomach was making flips and he had that fuzzy feeling again. Together they hopped on the jet and it took off.
