No mercy

As me and giyuu go farther up the mountain we kill any and every demon in our path with no mercy. Eventually we across someone, that someone is named Tanjirou who was facing 5 demons

I breathe in "4th form; lavender engulfing slashes" I land softly and turn around to see all of the demons necks cut off immediately. I look at tanjirou and see him surprised a look and he opens his mouth

"You know..they were once human too, y'know?" The boy said with a frown

I look at him unexpressive "Well, you know...they forgot their human memories. And you think they're suffering. So be glad I ended their misery."

"But you didn't have to kill them with no mercy!"

"They're just demons. That's the point of our job as demon slayers, get over it."

Tanjirou gets a mad expression "You don't have to be so rude!" He said yelling

"I'm not being rude I'm just stating a fact you can't accept. Now I'm not arguing with a child. Goodbye" I immediately take off and giyuu catches up to me and opens his mouth

"You know...I think the only reason he feels remorse for the demons is because his own sister is a demon."

I give him a glare "I don't care. He shouldn't hesitate to kill the demons just because of his sister. He should actually be doing it for her" and I look away

Giyuu looks down in frustration "well....he has been doing it for her but he's just too kind."

I say nothing more and my crow comes flying to me and I allow her to land on my arm as I stop sprinting

"CAW! Head northeast! CAW!" I sigh and start heading northeast more quickly then sprinting. I look behind me and see giyuu is way behind and he quickly comes up to me

"You're too fast, why don't you stop" he glared at me

"No." I said without another thought

"You haven't ate since yesterday afternoon"

"Why do you care? Responsibility comes first"

He quickly gets behind me and pulls me to him by my waist and I look at him with a pissed off face

"Let g-" I was interrupted by him because he shoved a origiri in my mouth

I immediately take it out my mouth

"You can't just do that! I have to go to my mis-" he shoved the origiri back in my mouth again

I take it out again

"Can you stop?!" And he shoved it in my mouth again

"Just fucking eat it." He said harshly

"Fine! But let go of my waist! It's creepy! And will you leave me alone if I eat it?!"

He stares at me and let's go of his tight grip around my waist and we sit down on the branch and I eat the origiri

I touch where he gripped my waist and it hurt. I glared at giyuu

"You didn't have to be so rough. Now I think I'm going to have a bruise on my waist." I said pissed

He looks at me "oh well, better than you starving yourself"

I scoff and look away "Wait this is my mission, why are you following me?"

He looks down at the snow "I have nothing else to do, and were friends."

I look at him "I'm pretty sure friends don't follow their friend everywhere they go"

He looks up and leans closer to me looking down at me "I just want to make sure you're safe, friends make sure their other friend is safe"
