I woke up the next day feeling better than I ever had at the old house. I practically jumped out of bed and threw some clothes on. I chose my navy blue hoodie, plain black t-shit, grey sweatpants, black ankle-length socks and red cons. The white on my cons was now all brown from "playing like a boy" too much. Alfonso saw me running towards the door but stopped me. The time was only 4:37 A.M.!

"Why are you up so early?" I asked him. "Couldn't sleep." he answered me while drinking an energy drink of some sort. "How about you?" he asked back. "I just woke up with a boost of energy. Plus I had trouble sleeping last night." I answered him. He "hm"ed at my answer then finished the drink. We decided to sit on the couch and watch American Werewolf in London until it was time to go. This time when the bus arrived he actually said bye. That lit my heart because he rarely ever said it, and when he did it was when our parents told him to.

When I got on the bus Tyler was waiting in the back again. This time he had some other kid with him. "Hey Sunny. I'd like you to meet my buddy Asher." Tyler requested as I sat down next on the seat across from them. Asher put out his hand past Tyler for me to shake. I shook it not wanting to be rude this time and I noticed Tyler's face grow frustrated. 'Maybe he bit his cheek?' I wondered. I ruffled with Tyler's hair and the three of us laughed. Asher seemed to be a little taller than Tyler and he was on the paler side with bleach blonde hair and green eyes. "How about we play a get to know you game on the way?" Asher randomly spit out. Tyler and I both shrugged. "I'm down." I said. Tyler nodded in agreement.

Asher straightened out making himself look very confident, and I could already tell he was. "Okay, I'll start." he announced. "Sunny, what's your type?" he asked me suddenly. I laughed at not only that, but how Tyler's face grew angry again and how he slapped Asher upside the head. "What? I'm just trying to get to know the girl!" he proposed which made it harder not to cry out of laughter. I calmed down and twirled with a bit of my hair. "Well.. I have two types." I mumbled. They both looked at me as if intrigued. "First, tan with dark curly hair. And the second is pale with straight hair, I don't really care about the color." I muttered trying not to burst into laughter. They looked at each other then back at me. "Well then, mademoiselle, will you go on a date with me?" Asher immediately blurted while smirking. Tyler elbowed him below the ribs making him loose his breathe for a second.

Tyler shook his head then put his hand on my shoulder. "Sorry about him. He's a real big flirt." he whispered loud enough for Asher to hear on purpose. "Rude." Asher mumbled trying not to laugh. All of a sudden the three of us randomly started chuckling, and then it turned into giggling, and then into laughing. Once we all calmed down the bus came to a stop. We all went to our classes quickly since the bus was a bit slower this morning. During free period someone grabbed both of my arms from behind and pulled me into a corner. Everyone else was outside doing something so it was just me and whoever this person was. They turned me around a bit gentler then I thought and pinned me to the wall. When I got a good look at who it was it turned out to be Asher. He didn't even say anything, he just kissed me. I was annoyed and confused all at once. 'Why? Why is he doing this? Why aren't I screaming, kicking him, something?!' I thought to myself. He started kissing my neck all of a sudden.

I could feel my face heating up. 'Did I like this?' I thought to myself. I did I want this, just not with him. I head-butted him. I was a surprise for him and stepped back a bit. He looked back up at me and all I could see was his anger. He started to run back towards me so I put my hands up ready to punch him. But before he was within a yard of me I saw a basketball hit the side of his face. Tyler came into view and my face heated up again. Asher tackled him and they kept rolling around. They were elbowing, punching, and even biting each other. Honestly I wish Tyler hadn't had come. The fight looked so fun, I just wanted to jump in so bad! I held myself back and eventually pulled Tyler off of him. Asher had a black eye and Tyler had a bloody nose. It even looked crooked. Maybe they broke it?

Asher shook his head and growled, then ran off to grab some ice for himself. Tyler turned to me and asked if I was alright. "Yeah, I'm fine. But what about you? Your nose looks broken!" I told him, which didn't really faze him for some reason. I went to touch it but he flinched before I even got within an inch. I cupped his face with one hand and he just stared at me. His cheeks and ears turned a deep shade of pink and I tried not to giggle. His face switched over to a sad look, and it worried me. I wanted to know what he was thinking. He cupped the hand that was holding his cheek and pulled it away gently. "Maybe you shouldn't be around me." he muttered suddenly while looking down. I was both shocked and annoyed. I started laughing and that came as a surprise for him.

He stared at me for a minute and then shook his head. "Well, the boys I hang with aren't exactly the best! And neither am I to be honest." he argued. "Jesus Christ- and I thought girls were dramatic!" I spat out in laughter. "What is with the drama from you? Huh?" I asked while catching my breathe. "Well, you could've gotten hurt!" he shouted suddenly. "Really? Who was the one who got him off?" I asked while giving him a cold stare. "Who's the one who led him on?" he asked smirking. "Who's the one who introduced him?" I smirked back. "Who's the one who kept him off?" he put his hand on my head. I finished the "who's-off" with "Who's the one who broke his nose?" as I grabbed his chin gently. We both laughed a bit before realizing we were both equally the one to blame for what had just happened. "How about we clean that up?" I asked starting to walk in the direction of the nurses office. "Yeah, we probably should." he agreed while following me.

By the end of the school day Alfonso was waiting at the front of the school. I waved to my few friends and Tyler ran up to me. "Hey, do you mind if I come too?" he asked. "Don't you have parents?" Alfonso asked from the driver's seat. "Well, yeah. But they never pick me up. They have me walk or take the bus." he answered nervously. "Then take the bus." Alfonso argued. "Alf, just let him come." I said giving him a cold stare. "Fine, but then you have to seat in the back with him." he agreed so me and Tyler sat down in the back. "So, Tyler, right?" Alf tried to start conversation, which was very surprising to me. "Yeah. You're Alfonso, correct?" he asked back. "Hm-hm." Alf confirmed.

Alf scanned Tyler from the movable mirror. "What grade are you in?" Alf randomly asked. "I'm a freshman, just like Sunny. How old are you?" he asked back. "I'm 18." he answered plainly. Tyler gulped and I tried not to laugh. This must've been the most nerve-racking thing for Tyler, other then that whole concert from earlier that summer. "What sport do you play? Basketball?" Alfonso asked. "Yes sir, basketball." he answered and I could've sworn I saw sweat dripping down his face. "Just call me Alf. It's not like I'm her dad or anything." he chuckled a little and that made both me and Tyler feel more comfortable. "But here is a dad question for you;" Alf started as he pulled into our driveway. "What do you plan for your's and Sun's relationship?" Alf finished and me and Tyler both jumped out immediately and ran into my house. After me, Alf, and Tyler all played battleship for a while Tyler's parents came to pick him up. They didn't seem to care that he was here and they actually invited me to go to his brother's birthday party next week and Alf said it was fine. After they left me and Alf ate dinner and then went to bed. I went to sleep excited about that afternoon and what might happen the next day.
