SCENE 1. INT. WOODS. NIGHT
The tikbalang dances in the dark woods. It moves its head with the fog as its whines echo.
Narration:
There are many mythical creatures in the Philippines. One of them is the Tikbalang. Tikbalangs are tall creatures that have the head of a horse and the body of a human. They are known to scare and trick travelers, leading them astray.
SCENE 2. INT. WOODS. NIGHT
John walks around in the woods lost and has no idea where he is.
John:
Okay. I just go through here and I'll be able to get out of this forest.
He tries to follow the GPS on his phone, but it dies.
John:
Oh no. What am I going to do? Tsk. Nevermind. I just need to keep moving.
Time passes and he turns and realizes that he's been through the same path before almost half an hour ago.
John:
I'm almost—Wait. I've seen this tree. Have I been walking in circles?
Suddenly, there is a sound from behind him. It is of a horse whining. It startles him.
John:
W-What was that?
Something moves from the distance which makes him run. He is scared.
John continues to run and moments later, he stumbles to the ground. The creature—the tikbalang—stands before him in the darkness.
SCENE 3. INT. ROOM. MORN.
John was about to scream until he hears a familiar sound. It's his older sister, Lisa.
Lisa:
John, wake up. You'll be late for class.
SCENE 4. INT. ROOM. MORN.
John sighs in relief and sits up from his bed. He gets ready. However, after washing off his face and looking into the mirror, he jolts. He has turned into a Tikbalang.
Everything turns black and John, now a Tikbalang, whines.
