𝐼 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑠𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒

Camille slipped back into the party, leaving Rachel's body on the ground. She did feel bad about leaving her on the ground, but she didn't know what else she should've done. She was new to the whole vampire thing.

When she got back into the house, she began looking around for her friends. She quickly noticed Benny and Ethan creeping up the stairs with Rory walking beside them.

She took a deep breath before quickly creeping up after them, still dreading to explain the bite mark on her neck and the fact that she had drank human blood not even five minutes ago.

"Cam?" Benny sternly whispered. "Where have you been? We've been looking for you all over the place!"

Camille struggled to find the words, but was fortunately cut off by Jesse speaking as he stood on top of the stairs. "He's speaking!" She whispered to Benny, telling him to be quiet as she sighed in relief.

"We will have this whole town!" Jesse exclaimed. "But The prophecy will not be fulfilled until we meet or target. 219, soul for soul"

"Ugh. Lame. Where's the band?" Rory asked, making Benny shush him.

"I'll an incredible night. Like something out of a movie." Jesse carried on, standing next to Sarah who was being held by a bigger vampire. "

"Pft. Movie-shmovie. The Rorster needs some food." Rory said, using the nickname him and Camille had come up for him one night when she was sleeping over at his house. She quickly put her hand over the blonde boy's mouth, not wanting him to get them caught. Benny and Ethan passed her a look to say 'thank you.'

"The magic girl was here." A vampire said, making the trio's brows rise out of confusion. They didn't know who he was talking about, but knew it couldn't be good.

"Yes. Camille Stentson." Jesse smirked, making the trio's eyes widen. The boys looked over to their friend, seeing her shocked and confused face. "The bite will make her powers stronger if she gives in and drinks human blood."

"You got bit?!" Ethan questioned. Camille struggled to find words, not sure how to reply so she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Enough talk! The moon is full. Let's eat."

The four friends crawled back down the steps and tried to look for the front door. When they got to door, Camille quickly tried to open it, but soon came to realize it was locked. "Damn it."

"What kind of door locks from the outside?"

"Through the back door?" Ethan asked as he ran towards the direction of the back door, his friends quickly following after him. They began running towards the pool area, but were stopped by a group of vampires blocking their way.

"Woah, woah, woah. Where're you girls going?" Gord, the vampire in front of them asked. "You can't leave so soon, Cam." He went to grab the girl by the wrist, but before he could, Benny pushed her behind him.

"Sweet. What's on the menu?" Rory asked, completely oblivious to what was happening.

"Us! Rory, the menu's us!"

Camille groaned, getting annoyed with the whole situation.

"Don't they look delicious?" Jesse asked as him and Sarah walked into the room. "Cam, come on over here. You don't wanna miss the fun."

"You know... I think I've had quite enough fun for the day. Maybe tomorrow?" Camille sarcastically replied while Benny pushed her further behind him to make sure she didn't go anywhere.

"No, you can't, not them!" Sarah explained, concern present in her voice. "I know these kids. I'm babysitting them."

"Well, I'm sorry, but." Jesse paused. "You still need a babysitter?"

"No! He does!" Camille defended herself as she pointed towards Ethan.

"He needs a babysitter." Benny added, joining the girl in pointing at their best friend.

"So, why exactly do you need a babysitter?" Gord asked Ethan.

"No one needs a babysitter!" Ethan exclaimed.

"Just be a he's a vampire does he have to be such dorkwad? Serously?" Benny asked, quite loudly, making Camille laugh. Gord hissed at him, going towards them.

Jesse jumped in, holding Gord back as Benny backed away, pushing the girl with him. "Initiations will follow tradition. Fledglings drink first."

Feeling someone push him forward, Rory stepped up. Camille tried to stop him, not wanting the same thing that happened to her to happen to him, but she was pushed back by Benny.

"Hear his heart pounding?" Jesse asked, taunting Sarah as she tried to avoid making eye contact. "It's the beat of a whole new world waiting for you."

"Did he just turn into Aladdin?" Camille questioned, making Benny laugh.

"One where you'll never die. Never grow old." Jesse continued. Hearing the vampire talk about blood, made Camille urgently want it. She couldn't help but think back to the taste of Rachel's blood, wanting to taste it again. She tried to shake it off, reminding herself that Rory was her best friend. "One bite and it's all yours."

Sarah started baby stepping towards the blonde boy, making Camille worriedly glance look at her, hoping she wouldn't actually do anything to him. Sarah started getting closer to him, but was stopped by Camille quickly running over and stopping her. Her three friends eyes widened as they noticed how fast she just ran, but their confused looks were interrupted by Erica stepping over to Rory.

"Oh, I'll do it." The blonde girl said, taking her place in front of Rory.

"Erica, no!" Sarah pleaded.

"Hey, girl's. There's no need to fight over me." Rory grinned. His grin quickly vanished from his face as Erica grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and bit into his neck, making them fall to the floor.

Sarah grabbed two sharp stakes of wood from a chair that had been nearby, holding them up to threaten the vampires surrounding them. Camille backed away, still shocked by how quickly she had ran to Sarah.

"Back off, I mean it!" Sarah growled. Benny and Ethan grabbed Camille's arm, dragging her with them as they hid behind Sarah.

"Sarah." Jesse said. "Seriously? Where can you go?" The trio began backing away, towards the door. Benny and Ethan knocked over a bowl of punch before throwing a lamp on it so that when the vampires chased after them, they would get electrocuted.

Camille began trying to unlock the door, finally being successful. She quickly opened the door, running towards the car with Benny and Ethan following after her.

"We're dead! Were do dead!" Benny yelled.

"It's okay. We just gotta find Sarah." Ethan said as they ran to the wall. They all climbed over, seeing Sarah. When they got down, they ran to the car and grabbed their tanning bed lights. The three of them all started swinging them around, using them as lightsabers.

"We're harnessing the force of sunlight." Ethan grinned.

"It's actually ultraviolet radiation in the spectrum similar to the sun." Camille explained as she kept swinging her lightsaber.

"I love it when you talk science." Benny muttered, loud enough for Camille to hear.

"Come on." Camille instructed, running over to the car before jumping in with the boys following her actions. Once they were all in, they quickly started driving away.
