Sophie Braun, daughter of Max and Marcy Braun, was a very peculiar girl, compared to her family members. She attended Sina High where she passed most of her classes and represented the school in sports like basketball, football and tennis. What made her different was her love for murder-mysteries, something the rest of her family disliked. Every afternoon, she would be either playing murder-mystery games or reading novels in her room or her study.
Her two best-friends, Ali Kirstein and Mika Ackerman, were also major fans of the genres so they would look up cold cases and try to figure out what the detectives didn't.
However, on May 19th, something occurred causing Sophie to go missing. Her family and friends searched for weeks but couldn't find her. They worried that the worst happened to her but never gave up. The survey corps, however, did give up a while later and shut the case down. Ali and Mika found it suspicious that she would go missing on such a random day.
A month later, on June 19th, her birthday, a gut-wrenching scream echoed through the halls and rooms of Braun manor as Riley Braun, her sister, found Sophie dead in her bedroom, her face scarred, body beaten beyond recognition and bleeding from open wounds and slits along her normally porcelain flesh.
Three autopsies later, it was announced that Sophie Braun was murdered.
There were 3 cuts on her left arm and scars along her skin. It was said that she was harassed and then killed but it doesn't explain certain things.
Her family and friends were in shock and agony at the news.
Her mother and father mourned with her sister and brother, Reiner, along with the rest of the family while her friends, Ali and Mika, isolated for a while because of the news.
A few days later, Riley called an old friend for help.
