𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒖𝒏𝒔

They all ran downstairs to see dani gone and the guard, dead.

"They're here. Marcy and max are in the manor and they have dani" kuri's eyes darkened as she heard jade say that.

"I'm going after them. They haven't left the manor yet"

"How do you know?"

—flashback to the first day kuri was here—

Kuri's pov- she's narrating

When I first came here, I set up motion sensors around the doors and windows outside and around the manor as well as in a 10 ft radius of the lawn in case anyone came in or left that wasn't us.

(this part isn't being narrated)

Kuri could be seen sticking camouflage sensors around the lawn and doors

I also placed cameras inside the manor in case anything like this occurred. They're hidden in corners and nooks around the whole house.

Kuri took out her tablet and looked at the cameras.

"There she is!" jade said, pointing to the camera surveilling the basement area.

"Suit up, let's go save dani" they all put on bullet-proof vests and took a firearm, eli and jade with rifles and kuri and sky with two handguns each. They headed downstairs, quietly and slowly, jade and eli in front and kuri and sky behind them.

They reached the door where crying and screams could be heard.

'Oh dani...' kuri signalled and the two broke down the door, going in.

"Let her go now!" kuri shouted as she aimed her guns at marcy and max, who was slicing dani's wrists. Marcy had a taser in her hand that was smoking, like it was just used. No one moved as marcy held a knife to dani's throat.

"Move and she dies." no one moved a muscle as two smoke bombs were thrown in from the windows, filling the room with thick white smoke. Kuri and jade knocked both of them out before kuri untied dani and picked her up.

"Im here baby, im here" dani passed out from crying and shock. More guards went in and took marcy and max away. The others went upstairs and kuri rested dani on her makeshift bed.

"Baby? You okay?" Dani shifted and shook her head lightly. Kuri cleaned her up and stitched her wounds before leaving her to rest with three guards with her.

"How is she?" sky asked as kuri walked in

"She's okay. Resting for now. We, however, need to finish this soon."

"We agree" kuri went back to the room with sophie's soul and spoke

"Sophie?"

"Yeah?" she answered as she floated in.

"I need you to answer this, what were your parents doing before they had riley?" sophie's eyes widened.

"You found out?"

"About the weaponry, bodies, tapes? Yes we found them. Now answer me" sophie sighed and spoke

"Before my parents had riley, they weren't the best people"

—flashbacks begin—

Third pov

Marcy and Max braun could be seen with men in black suits.

"Is it completed?"

"Where's the money?" max asked instead. Two duffle bags full of money were dropped infront of them.

"The tapes?" marcy placed a box of cassette tapes infront of the men.

"Good. you will be called on soon" the two nodded and took the duffle bags before leaving.

(sophie's pov)

They were recruited by a assasination group called the Yeagerists. They would be assigned to kill someone or a bunch of people and be paid within a specific time period. At the time, reiner and I were living with our grandparents while they were killing but hid it, saying they were on business trips.

When he and I moved back in, I began to pick up on two men in black suits who always come over with duffle bags and leave with cassette tapes in a brown box. They always were with my parents in their study so I began to spy on them. That's when I figured out about the weaponry, I saw them opening it one night I went down to get some juice to drink.

A few months later, I caught them moving the tapestry to my study but didn't think on it before so I just ignored it. That was until I got a spot of red liquid from it. That's when I saw the real contents of it.

The day I went missing, I found out about the bodies and was going to confront my parents when I was knocked unconscious. When I woke up, I was in a dark room. When the lights turned on, there stood my parents, my own flesh and blood, with knives and whips in their hands and smirks on their faces. I remember what my mother said.

"This should teach you not to spy on your parents, darling"

I was beaten and tortured for weeks before I passed out. A while later, I woke up to a gun to my head and then blacked out.

"When I was found by Riley, my soul woke up in this room. I knew you were here but couldn't leave this room so I had to intercept one of your dreams to talk to you. I knew you would remember and solve this" kuri was quiet for a bit before she spoke

"Thanks sophie. I'll be back" she nodded and left, taking the voice recorder out of her pocket and saving the track.
