AUTHOR'S POV

The sky is getting darker as Liam parties away with BamBam and Jackson. Partying like there isn't work tomorrow, Liam took a break from drinking and pulled BamBam aside. "I'm gonna go for a smoke, be back in 10," Liam said as close to Bam as he can since the music is getting louder and louder as the night grows. He fixes his blazer and got up and started walking out. He made his way through the partying crowd and opened the exit door and took a deep breath of fresh air. Liam took out a pack of cigarettes from his blazer and a lighter from his pocket. Picking one and putting it between his lips, Liam lights up the end of it and puffs the tobacco. Looking around the dark sky he turned his head to the left and see someone standing there watching him. "Have you been watching me?" He asked the girl. "Why would I be watching you, idiot." Jennie looks away brushing him off. "Geez, I was just asking," Liam said raising his eyebrows and sliding his left hand in his pocket and holding the cigar in his right. A moment of silence went by before Liam spoke again. "So what are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be inside with the rest of them?" He walked closer to Jennie but left a foot or two of space between them before leaning against the building. Jennie's back was propped up against the wall with her arm crossed, eyes staring off into the night sky, and haven't even noticed that the taller assassin had already invaded her personal space. "Leave me alone Liam, I don't wanna make small talk with you," She continues to stare at the sky. With every minute going by the sky gets darker and the only thing left lighting up the both of them is the street lights. Liam tilts his head to look at Jennie's face. Once again, staring at Jennie's lips. Letting a breath of smoke escape Liam asked Jennie. "Have you kissed anyone before?" Jennie's eyes widen and she turned to look at him. "It's none of your business asshole," Jennie pointed at him. "Woah, you've never kissed before?" Liam chuckled and blew a bit of smoke toward her. "That is disgusting Liam," She folded her arms and looked up at him. "Are you saving your first kiss till marriage or something?" Liam stood straight as his playful expression disappears. He steps closer to Jennie and looked down at her. "I don't see the importance of rushing into something like that, my career is my focus right now so I have no time for that," She challenged his gaze. Liam's stare sends chills down Jennie's spine and yet she keeps her cool. Liam stepped closer to her making her back against the wall. "You have really pretty lips Jennie-noona," Liam puts an arm next to her head on the wall. "You better back away now Liam," Jennie trying to not fall under his dominance over her. He ignores Jennie's warning and leans closer to her and whispers in her ear sending tingles down Jennie's spine. "I bet they would look even prettier around me," Liam smirked and backed away then wink at her before walking away.

Jennie stood there. Not knowing how to feel, not realizing what he meant with that comment. Jennie thought back on Liam in front of her like that. Her cheeks gently heat up and turn on a light shade of red. 'No fucking way I'm blushing.' She thought to herself covering her cheeks with her palm.

"Yah Liam, don't do that Liam!" Nayeon's voice can be heard from the door as she scolds Liam for blowing smoke at her. "Jennie, are you ready to go?" Mina asked smiling. Jennie with her cheeks still red nodded. Looking back at Liam and then to Jennie, Mina suspects something. "Did something happen between the two of you?" Mina tries to hide her smile. "What? No! I'm just a little tipsy from the drink I had," Jennie covered her cheeks with her palms again. "Come on, let's get going." Jennie waddled away with her hands still covering her cheeks. The other girls stare at her in confusion as Mina smiled. "Didn't she have sparkling water?" Yeji asked and they all laughed.
