I was awake by some voice shouting far in the distance and I shifted on the bed, upset for being disturbed in the middle of my sleeping.

I let out a loud exhale as I tried to get back to sleep, everything was quiet again and I began to relax again slowly drifting off to sleep again.

“Edens!” The voice called again, louder and closer this time but it still seemed to come from the outside, it wasn’t a call for help as for I detected his amusement from miles.

I groaned frustratedly and took the pillow off under my head and placed it atop it, burying my ears and face in it in a poor try to muffle down his voice.

“Let me sleep!” My voice came out muffled by the pillow.

Everything outside went quiet for a moment and I began to relax my shoulders again in order to fall back asleep. Just when I thought he had given up I heard something hit the bedroom’s window and I jumped startled on the bed.

“Edens.” Malfoy called again. “Come on wake up, you need to see this.”

I sat up on the bed and rubbed my eyes slowly opening them against the strong light erupting inside the room from the window.

The first thing I glimpsed was Malfoy on the other side of the window, grinning widely and my first reaction was to throw the pillow at his face even though it hit the window as it was separating him from me.

“What the fuck do you want.” I asked angrily for being disturbed so early in the morning when I was having such a good sleep.

I stood from the bed and neared the window. There was a spot marked by snow which obviously told me what Malfoy had throwed against the glass was most definitely a snowball.

“Come outside and see.” He said elated.

I groaned and rubbed my face, still feeling like sort of asleep and with a really desire to go back to bed. “See what?” I asked grumpily.

“Just come.” Malfoy said already disappearing from my field of vision.

I rolled my eyes and sighed in defeat, probably it was even time to be already up anyways. Still a bit against my will, I grabbed my wand and conjured warm black clothes and quickly went to the bathroom to fix my hair.

I only hoped that it wouldn’t be too cold outside for as I had just woken up, and a little morning cold was something I really wasn’t looking forward to. Whatever Malfoy wanted me to see surely would not be worth the cold, I’ve even begun to suspect it to be just a prank to get me out of bed as I walked throughout the living room towards the door that led outside.

My coat was already buttoned all the way up once I reached the door and opened it. The cold breeze quickly penetrated my clothes and I shivered as I got used to the high difference of temperature from the house.

Malfoy was already outside waiting for me, a smirk played over his lips. I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arms around me to get this quick and I could go back inside.

I neared him. “Fine I’m here. What do you want me to see?” I asked frustratedly.

He grinned and moved out of the way and pointed at the stream. At the first sight I furrowed confusingly but then I glimpsed why he had pointed at it.

“The stream is all frozen from yesterday.” Malfoy stated by my side.

I eyed it bewildered for a moment until I turned to Malfoy. “Was this the reason to wake me up so abruptly?” I asked stunned.

“It won’t be frozen for much longer and I wanted to take you somewhere before it all melts away.” Malfoy justified.

Now he really caught my full attention. “Where do you want to take me?” I asked curiously.
