N/A: have some archie-meets-rory! Psst: Archie like's Rory more than Amy (≡^∇^≡)
"Ah!! Archie! This is the first time you've left your room in a week..." The doctor pointed out, slightly concerned. He loomed over the small boy who appeared around five years of age. He looked exhausted, and hungry.
"You look awful...here" the doctor picked up his son and carried him over to the steps, heading towards the front door.
"Fish and chips?" Archie nodded and leant his face into the doctor's shoulder. The doctor sighed out and opened the tardis doors, showing the village of leadworth.
"This is where Amy lives!" He knew Archie already knew this, but he was trying to keep their spirits up, considering Archie looks like he hasn't slept in days.
The doctor stepped out of the tardis and closed the door behind him, locking it and hiding away the key before walking out in leadworth's scenery.
The doctor found a fish and chip shop. A small one, but it would do. After ordering and receiving their meals the two sat on a grassy area and ate away at the food. Archie only had chips, he wasn't a fan of fish.
The doctor noticed archie almost drooping into sleep, his head just about to fall into his chips. The doctor lifted his head up so he wouldn't be covered in potato and vinegar, then continued with his own food.
Two familiar faces walked over to greet the doctor and Archie, but one wasn't familiar at all to Archie.
"Fancy seeing you here, doctor" Amy smirked and sat down with the father and son. The man who was beside her did the same.
"Yeah! Hi! Oh, archie this is Rory, Rory this is archie!" The doctor placed his hand onto Archie's head, slightly caressing it with his thumb.
"Hello, archie" Rory smiled and waved a bit. Archie glanced at Rory and instantly grew onto him. Not a second later, Archie was trying to climb onto Rory's back as Amy and the doctor chatted about space and whatnot.
"What are you doing?" Rory raised his eyebrow and tried to turn his head, it quickly being pushed back by Archie's small hand. Archie was now sat on Rory's shoulders with his legs dangling from the front, and his over sized sleeves resting on his knees.
"I see." Rory stayed still as the young boy played around with Rory's hair, slightly pulling at it. Rory yelped out every time he did it, but didn't mind too much. Amy laughed, and was received a scowl from Archie, which she took and faced the doctor again.
"So, Archie, how do you know the doctor then?" Rory asked curiously. Archie giggled and slid down Rory's back, landing with a thump on the floor.
"I saved him from an exploding planet, of course" the doctor butt in. From Archie's current state, he could tell he'd be in no mood to speak.
"Oh... When was this?"
"Uhhh...seven generations ago"
"I've known you for a week, and you never told me you've had a child for seven generations"
"Well, didn't think it was relevant, he was also in his room for that entire week!" The doctor then shoved a chip into his mouth and looked up at the sky, then at archie who was dropping his chips into Rory's lap.
"Uhm...thank you" Rory quickly took the pile of chips and looked at amy, a look of 'help me' which she responded with 'no'. Rory groaned silently and watched archie observantly as he fiddled with his chips and dropped them into everyone's laps, except for amy.
"No chip for amy" archie muttered, sitting next to the doctor holding an empty box. Amy tilted her head in confusion. I mean, she wouldn't want chips all over her but she also feels left out so...
"Why I don't I get any chips?" Amy asked.
"Get your own" archie said very clearly. Amy raised her eyebrows, and the doctor frowned, but his face lit up again when he realized he had to be somewhere.
"I've got to be somewhere! See you lot later" he left the group followed by archie, walking down the street towards the tardis.
"I don't actually have to be somewhere, I got bored" the doctor explained, grinning. Archie nodded and took his hand as they both walked into the tardis and dissapeared back into the middle of nowhere, also called space.
"Rory was nice" archie said, with a cup attached to his face. The doctor smiled at archie and ruffled his hair.
"That's good. Do you want a refill on that? You're sucking an empty cup" archie nodded and pushed the cup into the doctor's hands, letting him go and refill it. Archie then walked over to one of the chairs and climbed onto it, and laid his back on it awkwardly.
The doctor came back with a cup of water and put it on the floor just next to Archie's chair then went to do timelord things.
