Alasdair Maven Wolfe

"Is that a person?"

I was with the food group who had turned into a rescue group, looking for Jasper. Bellamy had forced me to go look for them, mostly because I was the only one able to actually defend myself and protect other people at the same time as well as track people. We were currently following Finn, who self proclaimed himself to be a tracker. My walls went up as I heard a branch snap. I spun around, catching everyone's attention as I quickly took my bow off my back, notching an arrow.

The rest of the group all quickly became on guard as I quickly looked around, my eyes darting around my surroundings. Clarke asked, "Alek, what's wrong?" I shushed her, as I looked through the trees. My eyes caught sight of an object. I looked at it, seeing a skull. Nate said, "What the hell is that? I mean, who? Is that a person?" Clarke corrected, "Not who. What." Octavia mumbled, "We are so screwed."

A sharp shriek piece through the air, making Nate jump and almost fall over again. I really need to help him with his clumsiness. Nate whispered, "Jasper, he's alive," his voice full of relief. The spear didn't hit his heart or any other organ he needs to live or survive. That's good. Nate went to run towards the scream, tripping over nothing and face planting. Nate got off the ground and Clarke got in his way. This bitch is really starting to get on my nerves.

"Nate!"

Nate growled, "Get the fuck out of my way." He's not gonna listen to her. Clarke winced, "Just...stay out of the trees." Nate nodded and the entire group crouched down as I stayed standing. Clarke said, "Alasdair, get down." I replied, "Rather not," looking at the ground, looking for footprints. Finn said, "He was right there," which was followed by Monty muttering, "They took him." He's alive but probably not for long. I muttered, "Not shit, Sherlock," before I could stop myself.

The hike back to camp was quiet, no one daring to say anything. I was twirling my new knife in my hands, this knife being a lot better than Murphy's knife. Clarke asked, "Can you please stop that?" I shrugged, "Why? It isn't hurting anybody." Clarke added, "Yet." I shrugged, throwing the knife in a tree about 15 feet away from me. I stated, "None of us, at least," seeing the squirrel my knife had pierced.

"Oh looky, I got us more food."

Monty snarked, "Not a lot more." I shrugged, "Food is food," as I trudged over to the tree. I pulled my knife out of the tree and the squirrel, catching the squirrel that fell with my right hand. The rest of the group caught up with me and I handed Clarke the squirrel. I vaguely explained, "Easier to hunt with empty hands." I tossed my knife in the air, catching it by its hilt. Finn started, "Alasdair-" I cut him off, "Oh look, we're back," as camp came into my sight. I tucked my knife into my shoe, as I jogged towards the barrier door. I opened the barrier door, walking back into camp.

The first thing I saw was Wells Jaha standing over Murphy with a knife to Murphy's throat, causing me to roll my eyes. Why am I not surprised? I mean, should I be surprised? Yeah, I probably should. First day on Earth, not a success in any way. Well, besides the fact that we have food because of Octavia and I. Clarke snapped, "Wells! Let him go!" Wells almost immediately obliged, shoving Murphy to the ground. Murphy jumped up, lunging at Wells. Bellamy scolded, "Murphy! Enough!" I saw Roxi leaning against the drop ship, and I decided to join her.

Leaning against the drop ship, I asked, "Want to train?" as I stood next to Roxi. Roxi shrugged, causing me to snark, "Or just stand here like statues?" Roxi lightly chuckled and said, "We can train, I guess. Maybe wait for all the fighting to die down." I nodded as I heard Clarke exclaim, "You idiots! Life support on the Ark is failing, that is why they brought us down here! They need to know that ground is survivable again, and we need their help against whoever is out there. You take off that wristband, you're not just killing them, you're killing us." I need to get this wristband off soon, then. I couldn't care less if life support was failing. I looked over at the crowd, seeing Nate jump up, his dark hair falling into his face, as he exclaimed, "Okay, it physically pains me to say this!" catching everyone's attention.
