"I'm sorry you want to do what exactly?"
Esmeray looked at his friend as he sat across from him, waiting for an answer. His friend looking at him intently.
"To travel through time, it's truly not that complicated."
Esmeray frowned.
"Thayne, you should know the law by now! You're people shouldn't even exist in this world, if you pull a crazy stunt like this you'll be screwed!"
He took in a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
"You have to understand the possible consequences behind this, it's not safe! You could ruin our timeline."
Thayne's eyes grew dark, and he grabbed Esmeray's wrist roughly.
"You don't have to join me, I have others who would absolutely love to make our timeline a much better place."
Esmeray felt him tighten his grip before he continued speaking, dragging him closer,
"But you're sure as hell not going to stop me either, do I make myself clear?"
Esmeray pulled his hand away from him. Rubbing his wrist tenderly, it was beginning to turn red where Thayne had grabbed him,
"I can't, I'm sorry. It's too dangerous, what if you mess up and travel backwards in time to say about two thousand years ago to the years of the Third World War?!"
Thayne sat back down, his brow furrowed staring away from Esmeray. Shaking slightly Esmeray took a seat as well, but beside his friend instead.
"I do have one request, in case you do this Thayne."
His friend glanced at him sighing in frustration.
"What is it."
Esmeray smiled awkwardly.
"I'd like you to tell me a couple of weeks in advance so I have time to check some things off of my bucket list, you never know if the timeline really is going to become shit."
Thayne leaned back, giving Esmeray a smile.
"You have yourself a deal."
Esmeray slowly shook his hand, letting out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding.
"And Esmeray,"
His grip tightened and he dragged him in close once more,
"You're going to regret telling anyone about our meetings, and my plans."
Still smiling Thayne let go of his hand, standing up.
"You may leave now."
Esmeray stood up, being pushed out of the small dormitory the door slamming behind him. Esmeray sighed and began flying back towards his dormitory.
"This school is too big."
He listened to his voice echo back to him. It was quiet. Too quiet.

Run.

Esmeray searched for where the voice had come from, as shivers ran down his spine, landing quickly on the Landing Zone.
"Who's there?"
He continued to spin around, tripping over his wings.

Run, now.

He backed up into the wall,
"This isn't funny!"
He looked down the floating walkways, the safety barriers felt like they were closing in on him.

RUN!

Esmeray sprinted down the walkway, nearly knocking down his room mate as he ran straight into their dormitory.
"Woah there pal, why are you in such a hurry?"
Esmeray walked into their dormitory, heading straight for his bedroom.
"Well I'm heading out to the cafeteria, let me know if you need something."
Esmeray watched as his roommate left their dormitory, leaving him all alone.
"Something doesn't feel right."

Hide.

"Why?"
Esmeray sat on his bed, waiting for what was supposedly coming for him. He was scared, but he was also stubborn.

HIDE. NOW.

"No."
Silence. That's all he was left with, but it didn't last long as a loud knocking sounded at the door. He got up stretching his wings slightly as he opened the door.
"Esmeray Amano."
He looked at the tall, elegant woman standing in front of him, feeling his breath catch in his throat,
"Miss Angelica."
