The next day came really soon, Sam and penny were both going back to work for the first time today and they both had a shift together.
Sam and penny came into the station and everyone hugged them as they were so excited to see them again, they gave Sam and penny an update on everything that happened while they were off work and once Sam and penny were fully updated with everything they’ve missed, they started their day with a cup of tea.
The day went pretty smoothly, they did a few fire drills and they only had 2 emergencies to attend to, which was rescuing a cat from a tree and putting out a BBQ that was on fire.
At 6 o’clock Sam and penny’s shift both ended and they headed in the same direction, Ellie looked through the window and she saw saw Sam and penny walking in the same direction and it made her curious, but she decided to wait until tomorrow to get her answers of penny.
