"Juliet, in chapter five, why does Victor Frankenstein run away from the creature he created?" My British Literature teacher asked me.

"He was mortified of what he had created." I said in a monotone voice. I was honestly over this class and really wish the bell would just ring already.

"That is correct." He said. He moved on with the lesson, asking other people questions about chapters 4-13 of Frankenstein.

I can say full-heartedly that I love reading, but some books, I just do not care for. I want to be able to sit down and understand, and I get sucked into the story. But with Frankenstein, it just doesn't do that.

My name is Juliet Hasden. I am the daughter of Erik and Melissa Hasden. The seconds hands of the Detroit Mafia. U ahveknown this mafia family for as long as I have been alive. The mafia's leaders' names are Steven and Maire Wilks and their son, Bryce, he and I always hung out when we were younger. Not so much anymore.

Bryce is your average bad boy, and as you can guess, I have always had a crush on him. But since he stopped hanging out with me, I just assumed that he doesn't like me that way. I try and stay away from him as much as possible. Sometimes he just makes it hard.

But I know he could never look at me that way. Which makes me want to cry, but also thinking that way allows me to stay away from him.

*bell ringing*

"Okay, class, I want you to read Chapters 14 to 16 tonight for homework. And for the love of all things cheese, please take notes."

FoR tHe LoVe Of AlL tHiNgS cHeEsE!!!!

He always says this, and it is so fucking weird. I pack my things up and leave the room. Across the hall, I see Bryce leaning against the wall.

"Yo, Jules, come here real quick," he said. I sighed and walked over to him.

"Yes, Bryce?"

"Do you know what is for dinner tonight?" I just stood there staring at him like he was stupid.

"Seriously. You called me over to ask me what was for dinner?" I scoffed and walked away.

He followed me and said, "What? I think it was a valid question."

I stopped and turned to him, "It wasn't valid Bryce. I don't even know if I am supposed to have dinner at your house tonight. You are just trying to make me look stupid in front of your friends. Just stop, okay. I get it you think you are better than me, but leave me alone. God." I said, tearing up a little, and walked away.

I walk over to my friends. "Hey chica, what's wrong?" my friend Kylie says a little worried.

"It's nothing really. Just Bryce being a bully like always." I said, wiping my tears away.

"Is that why he is looking at you shocked right now?" my other friend Morgan said.

I turned around and looked at him. He was just staring at me shocked. I swipe another tear away before turning back to my friends and shrugging my shoulder. "Who knows. What are you guys doing after school."
