"Okay, she is all stitched up and we looked her over to make sure that didn't have any other injuries. Juliet is fine. Contusion to the head. Which led to a concussion. Bed rest, lots of liquids, and feed her on a regular schedule."

"Thank you, Doc. Bryce will make sure that it happens and that she heals." My mother said.

I was sitting next to Juliet on my bed just watching her breathe. I know some might see that as a little creepy, but it is the only thing that is easing my mind.

My mom was standing next to me with her hand on my shoulder. Both of Juliet's parents were on the other side of the bed with Carter behind them. My dad was standing next to my mom with his hands in his pocket.

"When should we wake her up?" I whispered. My mom heard me and repeated it to the doctor.

"Let's say in two hours. Give her a little time to rest, and I recommend some soups for her. Give her some ibuprofen if she wakes up with a headache and/or is in pain. She shouldn't be in pain, but she may be."

"Thank you. We will let you know if we have any questions." Juliet's mother says, sniffling.

I honestly didn't hear anything after that. I was too focused. "Bryce? Honey?" my mom said, shaking me.

I looked over at her a little shocked, "Huh?"

"We are all going to leave, but I will be back in two hours with food for the both of you. Why don't you get some rest? I know it might not feel like you can, but please. Get some rest so that you can help heal your girlfriend." She says while rubbing my cheek and then kissing my forehead.

Everyone left, leaving me and Juliet alone. I take my shoes off, my jacket, and got into bed. I gently lifted Juliet's head so that I could put my arm behind her head and warped my arms around her.

Pounding.

That is all I feel. My head hurts, and I don't even know why.

I move a little and let out a choked sob. It really hurts.
