I have driving for about 30 minutes. I know that I could have had her home within 10 minutes, but I needed to warm her up and I wasn't expecting her to fall asleep. But now I am just letting her sleep, and driving around is calming me down.

"Bryce?" Jules whispered.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Can we go home? I am getting uncomfortable, and get out of these wet clothes," she said, stretching and moving to get comfortable again.

Shit! How could I forget about the clothes? "Five minutes. Okay, Jules. I will get you home in five minutes."

"Thank you, Bryce."

"You're welcome, Jules."

I drove to my house. I really didn't care at this point. I was pissed. I quickly put the car in park and get out. I open Jules's door, pick her up bridal style and carry her into the house. I quickly carry her upstairs. I bring her into her room. It is one of the spare rooms. My parents thought that since they are over all the time they should have their own rooms. Up until about 3 months ago when they moved in for good. I walk into the bathroom, still caring for her, and set her on the counter.

"Do you need anything else?"

"No. Thank you, again Bryce."

I laugh and say, "Jules, you got to stop thanking me."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize. Just promise me that next time you will call me if your parents or brothers don't answer the phone."

She chuckles a little and says, "I promise."

"Good. Goodnight Jules."

"Goodnight Bryce."

I leave the bathroom and walk downstairs. I see her mother and father rush into the house frantically.

"Bryce! Is Juliet okay?"

"Yes,"

I walk past them and walk into the kitchen. I grab some leftovers and heat them.

"Why did she call us five times each?" Her mother asks.

"She didn't have a ride home."

"Why didn't she call you?"

"I don't know okay! Can you leave me alone? She's upstairs right now, no thanks to you. She is getting ready for bed. Bring her some food and be prepared for her not to go to school for a few days. I am predicting that she will be sick for a while." I said, raising my voice a little.

Her parents stand there shocked, bowing their heads to show submission. I grab my food and leave the room.

I don't think anyone knows this, but I really really like Juliet, and the fact that they could let her walk home and not answer their fucking phones annoys the shit out of me.
