(time jump - five months later)
"Babe?" I yell from the baby's room. A few months ago, Bryce had the baby's room, our room, and his office connected by doors. It was honestly very convenient because I rarely left any of the rooms.
"Yes, my love?" He said, walking into the room.
"I need to pack a bag. And I can get up from this chair," I said with a pout.
"Oh my poor babe," He said. He mimicked my pout, put his hands on the armrests of the rocking chair and then bent down to kiss me on the lips, "Tell me what you need, and I will get it for you," He said, kissing me again and then stand straight up.
"There is a list over on the dresser. I think that has everything on it. I still haven't talked to my mom about all the stuff I needed."
"Melissa?!" Bryce yelled, then picked up the list and scanned it over. I just sat there watching him while rubbing my stomach.
"Yes, Bryce? What can I do for you?" She said in a playful tone as she walked in.
"Juliet made this list and forgot to ask you if she needed anything else," He handed her the list.
"Well, from first glance it looks like you are all good. Do you guys want me to help you pack the bag?"
"Please. I don't know what some stuff is, and I would rather Juliet stay sitting."
"I need to stand at some point. My butt is starting to hurt," I whined.
"You tell us when Juliet. Bryce, let's get started. What bag do we want to bring?" Mom said.
"Carry on suitcase. I think it will be more convenient for Bryce and you guys when we need something," I said.
"Okay, that is smart. Where is the suitcase?" Mom said, looking around the room.
"I will get it really quick," Bryce ran out of the room and into our room.
Bryce can back in, and I sat there and watched mom and Bryce back my hospital bag.
I ended up falling asleep but woke up to Bryce laying me on the bed.

"Hey, Byrce!" I yell from our room.
"Ya, babe!" He yelled back.
"I think it is the time!" I was breathing kind of hard. I knew earlier that when my water broke, I should wait to tell Bryce until the contractions started getting closer because I knew that he would've taken me to the hospital so fast. And I also knew if that were to happen, the hospital would've sent me home because I wasn't dilated yet.
He came running in and stood next to the chair I was sitting in.
"How do you know?" He said, crouching down.
