The week had gone quicker than fleur had anticipated because the next thing she knew, her heart was racing as she stood in front of a building in 205th hudson street wearing a suit ready for the outset meeting.
her hands were sweaty and she took deep breaths before pushing the revolving door around and heading inside the elevator to get to the designated floor.
when she got there, there was a board with the units and one was beside 'the outset' so she knocked on the door. she was greated with a warm smile through the eyes by a blonde woman with short hair who she assumed was kate.
"kate foster, it's lovely to meet you!" she opened the door wider extending her hand for a handshake "fleur scott" she wiper her hand on her coat before shaking it "sorry im um nervous i havent been to one of these since the start of the pandemic" fleur laughed taking her coat off
"oh it's no worries and i should say i was surprised you wanted to meet in person, others insisted it be online,"kate said "right, sorry about that it's just i like to see people i work with before working with them.. it doesn't make sense but-" "oh no it makes sense also these are all the workers, everyone, fleur scott" kate moved to the side. she saw around 14 workers sitting by the computer as they waved and she did the same.
after the formalities, they moved to a more secluded room to talk business.
"so the outset is...." they had been talking back and forth filling each other with information.
"so, i know you are currently working with cetaphil and cerave too?" "yeah um i figured you'd to talk about that... but i'm willing to put them on hold to test this" "really?? that'd be great!" "of course, this is a very interesting project i mean i get the message" fleur said looking over the presentation prepared
"alright well...here is the daily regiment and i think a month or 2 will give the full effect" kate handed fleur a bag with all of the products "thank you and i'm glad we got to talk in person" fleur said standing up when the door opened "im sorry im late you know rose sh- oh.. hi!" another blonde came in removing her mask to breathe "hi" fleur said in a quiet voice being immediately captivated by the woman
"scarlett, this is fleur.. remember? and fleur this is scarlett johansson, the founder" "oh gosh im so sorry i missed the whole thing didn't i" she said running her hand through her hair "oh it's alright i just filled fleur in on what its about and all that stuff and she agreed!" "thats great! will you be handling the social media too?"
"oh um yeah! i guess!" she said "well i'm so so sorry i missed this, im usually not like this i just had a family issue" "it's no worries but i have to go i have a studio thing so it was nice to meet you both" fleur said putting her coat on as the two women said their goodbye's
