"when i heard the song- well all 3 songs! it sounded like i could hear your heart breaking" the interviewer said "oh thank you.." olivia laughed but started talking again when the interviewer looked at her "um i was always an emotional kid and i guess when i sing.. i just feel it?"
"so all these songs are written based off experiences you've been in?" the interviewer leans forward, clearly interested to get the scope on this.
the camera angle shifted to olivia whose mood shifted subtly.
"well, i just turned 21 and wrote most of my songs, released and unreleased, when i was still like 14? so i really had no actual reference to the feeling of heartbreak" her nose scrunched "but when you read about it, or someone cries to you about it, movies! you get the idea of it?" she continued "mhm yeah so, not true stories here?"
"no. when i.. describe a clear scenery in a song.. sure, it can be from what i've seen but i create my songs like they are things in general. not directed to anyone." she bit her lip, looking down to the floor for a brief moment "i see in social media now that people are making false claims and butting in on matters that isn't theirs to do so, sending hate to people who didn't really do anything and i just.. want to make it clear. im fine, no one hurt me, im just a girl who likes to sing about heartbreak" olivia laughs it off with the interviewer who joins.
