Suspicious

"What HAPPENED!" Charles angrily yelled as he slammed the medical ward doors open.

When he found out what had happened he wasn't just angry.

"General Sir!" The troopers that where guarding the door straighten up in fear and saluted him as he angrily walked towards them. They coward away as he walked past them and into the room where a medical droid was spraying anti-bacteria spray on the shoulder wound on Rebekah.

"What happened." He gritted out as he looked at me.

"Rebels General Sir! They had taken Miss Woods hostage. We had them surrounded and I believe they we're going to try to get information from her. They shot her before they could get away." One of the troopers from outside said as he had followed Charles inside.

"Get out..." Charles angrily gritted out. The stormtrooper and medical droid left closing the door behind them.

"Charles..." I got up from the medical bed.

He turns his back on me as he rubs his chin in thought. I step closer, that was my first mistake. He swiftly turned around and backhanded me. I fell on the floor as he started to mumble to himself.

"How did this happen?" He turned to me as I stood back up.

"I was going to the bathroom upstairs when I heard people talking. I turn the corner and next thing I know I'm in the hands of those Rebels." I softly told him.

"What did you tell them?" He mumbled as he paced.

"What?" I asked since I didn't really hear him.

"What did you tell them!!!" He yelled as he got in my face. I looked down as I kept a straight face.

"Nothing... I told them nothing." I whispered as I looked up at him.

"Don't LIE TO ME!!!" He yelled at me.

"Im not.." he grabbed my arm tightly. Im pretty sure there's going to be a bruise.

"Are you telling me the truth? Don't lie to me." He whispered harshly to me.

"Yes... it's the truth." I whispered. He raises his hand quickly making me flinch. He nods before opening the door and walking out not before talking to the medical droid.

"Make sure she's taken care of. Then send her to her apartment and station guards in case those rebel scum come back." He left the medical ward as I walked out of the room.

The medical droid came up to me and did a scan.

"Your blood levels has spiked. There is some contusions on your left arm. Would you like me heal your contusions with a painless medication?" The bot asked. This made the stormtroopers look my way.

"No. This doesn't leave this medical ward, you hear me?" The bot and stormtroopers nod.

The two stormtroopers followed me as I walked away and went to the apartment.

At the apartment complex I pace around after I changed into a green nightgown. I haven't heard nothing from Fulcrum or Caleb. That's other thing too. He chose my father's name to go in hiding. He's alive! Its crazy, after the clones that where supposed to bring peace was the ones to turn on the Jedi. I believed for him to be dead after I didn't hear anything from him. I kinda expected for him, if he was alive to knock on my door for help or something.

Im a bit hurt that he didn't think he could come to me for help. We've been friends ever sine they where little. We did everything together. I was there when his father died. He was there for me every time the day of death of my mother came around. I remember how we would spend every day together. Its my happiest memories.

I heard the doors slam making me stop in my pacing. Charles was back.

"They've taken information on the new blasters construction and the new weapons the Empire is manufacturing. They know!" Charles rants as he picks up a vase and throws it against the wall making me wince.

"What are you going to do?" I asked. I knew I need to find out whats the Empire's next plan.

"The Empire is going to burn them to the ground. By burning what they're trying to protect!" He walks into the bedroom and starts grabbing some clothes and a bag for himself.

"Im leaving to go to Lothal. Where going to start there since thats where those rebel scum are always making the much noise." He zips up his bag and starts to walk towards the door. Im walking after him not knowing what to say so I'm just stumbling over my words.

"Bu-..we.. the Empire... the citizens!" He turns around quickly making me stop.

"I'll burn the whole planet if I have to. Those Rebels will die. Starting with that Jedi!" He yelled making my eyes wide.

"NO!" I said it before I could stop myself. I covered my mouth.

He turned around quickly and backhanded me. He hit me right on my eye. I fell down as he huffed above me.

"If I EVER Find out you had anything to do with them escaping or getting that information. I will kill you." He huffs as he pointed at me before he started walking out.
"You leave this apartment Ill find you and beat you till you beg you were dead!!" He slammed the door closed.

I stayed there on the ground and quietly cried . I knew I had to warn them. I got up and went to the bed room and pulled a piece of a comm from under the mattress, then I went to the bathroom and reached under the sink and pulled out another piece of the comm that I taped there. I put the two pieces together and locked the bathroom door to make sure no one comes in. I pressed the button and let the comm come to life.

"Fulcrum... come in Fulcrum. This is Widow come in Fulcrum." I tried to get my breathing under control.

"This is Fulcrum, Widow. Whats wrong?" She sounded worried as she answered back.

"They're heading to Lotal. He's on to me...." I told her scared as I curled up in the corner of the restroom.
