With Kanan and Rebekah leading the group as the two new temporary cargo followed behind, Ezra started to ask questions about where they needed to go. But that was far from Kana's mind at the moment.
"How do you know Hondo?" He asked with a lifted brow
"I was wondering the same thing. He seemed pretty chummy with you back there." Sabine said making Hera frown at her.
"If I didn't know any better, I would say you all trust people very easily," Rebekah chuckled. "You're not the only ones that receive tips for a price. I just was 'fortunate' enough to be in the same place one day with him in the room. All he cares for is himself and money, in my opinion."
"For the first time today I agree with you." Kanan joked as he gave her a side glance
She playfully glared at him with a small smirk on her face. They kept walking before Ezra's communicator went off.
"Ezra my boy...It's your pal Hondo." He said making us stop briefly.
"What is it Hondo?" Ezra shook his head with a smile
"Just so you know, there are, uh...stormtroopers on their way." This made everyone tense up.
"How close are they?" Before Ezra could receive an answer back, a laser fire nearly hit him.
Kanan stood in front of Rebekah as stormtroopers cut off the exist to the ship.
"Pretty close."
"You don't say?!" She yelled as Kanan, Hera, Sabine ran forward and shot them down.
"They got backup!" Kanan yelled
"So do we. Here!" Sabine threw the stormtrooper gun at Rebekah, she caught it swiftly. She then threw two more at the male Lasat so he can help. It just so happen that it hit him straight in the chest before falling to the ground with a clank.
"Oh, no. We do not fight. It is no longer our way." He shook his head as he explained.
Zeb threw him down before any laser fire could hurt him.
"What? You're Lasat. You're warriors. 'Course you fight!" Zeb told him
Rebekah and Kanan were on opposite sides of the doorway hiding for cover. As Hera, Sabine, and Ezra covered from behind the group since more stormtroopers were coming their way.
"This just keeps getting better." Hera sarcastically said
"We'll never get through now." Rebekah yelled over the shots fired
"Well, we can't go back. I'm going to say it already. But I told you so!" Kanan yelled as he took a shot at the troopers but missed slightly.
"Shut up you nerf-herder!" Rebekah yelled before popping her head out to successfully hit a stormtrooper. She covered herself before lifting a brow at Kanan making him roll his eyes.
Suddenly the back doors where Ezra was covering behind shut, closing and trapping in the stormtroopers that were behind the crew. Ezra lifted his comm to talk to Hondo.
"What happened?"
"Another rescue by Hondo Onaka!"
"Thanks, Hondo! We owe you one." Ezra said making Rebekah and Kanan turn at the same time.
"No! We don't!" They said at the same time before going back to shooting the bucket heads.
Sabine rolled out into the open to get the last remaining two making the halls clear. The group quickly started running towards the bay area where the Ghost was parked, before any more could regroup and trap them again in the halls. Hera and Rebekah shot at the troopers in the docking area as they ran to the ship to start it up. Kanan stopped and turned on his lightsaber to block the shots from hurting anybody. Rebekah stopped and turned around in worry.
