Chapter 23

-Harold's pov-

I woke up the next morning and noticed I was the first one up in my room. When does tht happen? Oh well, I'll just go down to the cafe and get some waffles.

When I get down there I see Jade sitting at a table with Justin. I know I shouldn't, but I feel a little pang of jealousy. I still have feelings for her, but I'm trying to shut them out.

"Harry!" Jade called patting the seat next to her. I grab 3 waffles and some fruit salad from the buffet and join them at the table.

"Hey Styles." Justin nods.

"Hey Bieber." I said, mocking his accent.

"Hey Thirlwall." Justin smiles at Jade.

"This is good fruit salad!" Jade randomly burst out.

"Cool?" I respond.

We finish breakfast and still, we are the only three up.

"I gotta go do my hair." Justin announced before walking back to our room.

"What are we doing today?" Jade asked poking her mug with a fork.

"We're hanging around here before lunch then our group picks another place to go." I answer.

"Let's pick somewhere not lame." Jade jokes referring to the lame park.

"Well no duh!" I grin mockingly. She smacks my arm lightly.

"You know what I meant." she said and an awkward silence settled over us.

"It sucks. That things are weird between us now." I complain.

"Yeah." she agrees her voice catching at the end.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"You. I had a huge crush on you, then you tricked me into thinking you liked me too." she said tears starting to slip out of her eyes. Her perfect brown eyes.

"I did like you, I still do." I admit pulling her into a hug.

"But, Mollie." she whispers.

"I don't know. I can't even understand what's going on in my own brain." I sigh, irrated with myself. For making Jade cry, and lots of other girls too.

Jade remained silent. "I'll let you know if I figure it out." I grin moving out of the hug.

"I want a donut." Jade burst out.

"I'll get you one. Do you want more tea?" I offer standing up.

"Yes please" she smiled adorably handing me her mug. I walk over to buffet and put two chocolate donuts on a plate. Then I poured her favorite tea into her mug; Cranberry. Then I strode back over to the table.

"Thank you!" Jade said gratefully taking her mug. She took a long sip then took a huge bite out of her donut. We both finished our donuts and tea.

"Wanna go see if the others want to go to the pool?" Jade suggested. I nod. She would probably look good in a bathing suit. SNAP OUT OF IT STYLES!

All of us go down to the pool and cannonball in. Except for Zayn, he sat in a lounge chair by the pool.

"Let's play Marco Polo!" Jesy suggested.

"Oh! I wanna be Marco!" Niall shouted.

"Ok!" we all yelled and got in position for the game.

"Marco!"

"Polo!"

"Marco!"

"Polo!"

"Marco!"

"Polo!"

"Marco!"

"Polo!"

"Got you!" Niall shouted grabbing Louis by the arm!

"AH! Son of a Mint!" Louis complained.

"Mommy? Is mint a swear?" Liam asked pulling on Marie's arm.

"Um, no. He's just insane." Marie said uneasily.

"Ok!" Liam said. He walked around in the pool for a while then splashed Danielle in the face. "Got you, sissy!" Liam yelled before running away from her.

"He thinks I'm his sister?" Danielle asked.

"Yeah, I guess..." I reply.

We went an hour with Liam acting like Marie was his mom and Dani was his sister. After 45 minutes he decided that Niall was his dad.

"WE ARE SO STUPID!!!!!!!!!!" Marie burst out.

"Hey! Speak for yourself! I think I'm a genuis!" Zayn smiled.

"Shush, Zayn! You can be vain later!" Niall scolded.

"What did you realize?" I ask eagerly.

"When Louis was acting crazy, he snapped out of it when El joked about marrying someone else, and Liam said that that was how you snap them out of it!" Marie smiled, proud of being the one who remembered that.

"Ok" I said and then stood up and walked over to Danielle. "Danielle, ditch Liam for me. I love you." I said as seriously as I could.

"Harry! What are you doing!" Liam demanded.

"What you told us to! You thought that Marie and Niall were your parents!" I explained.

"Oh, good job remembering guys!" Liam smiled.

"And, just to be clear, I don't like Danielle." I said.

"Good." Liam said.

Perrie and Jesy exchanged a look before sing-screaming "LIAM AND DANIELLE SITTING IN A TREE K-I-S-S-I-N-G FIRST COMES LOVE THEN COMES MARRIAGE THEN COME THE BABY IN THE BABY CARRIAGE THATS NOT ALL THATS NOT ALL THEY LET THE BABY PLAY BASKETBALL THATS NOT ALL THATS NOT ALL THEY LET THE BABY DRINK ALCHOHOL THATS NOT ALL THATS NOT ALL THEY WERE BAD PARENTS AFTER ALL!"

After lunch the groups chose where they were gonna go. Our group went to the mall and went shopping! After that, we boarded the plane and flew back to the school. It was a pretty good field trip!
