Chapter 20

I'm on chapter 20! Whoohoo! Because it's chapter 20, I'm doing something special! This chapter will  be a flashback to Marie's life before she came to this school. Enjoy my rubber duckies!

-3rd person-

Marie was super excited, today she was having a sleepover with her two best friends; Fern and Zara. They all go to Waltin Middle School. 

The doorbell rang, and Marie opened the door to find Zara.

"Hey girlie!" Marie greeeted.

"Whaddup girlie!" Zara smiled.

"Come in!" Marie said. Both girls head up to Marie's bedroom.

"Fern here yet?" Zara asked as they sit in bean bags in front of Marie's tv.

"No, she called to say she's runnning late." Marie informed.

"I brought a movie like you asked. Milo and Otis!" Zara giggled.

"Milo and Otis? Again?" Marie groans jokingly. Milo and Otis is a little kid movie about a kitten and a pug. Zara absolutely loved pugs.

"You love this movie and you know it!" Zara insisted.

"Do you ever wonder if you might be too obsessed with pugs?" Marie teased.

"Nope!" Zara said sticking her toungue out at Marie. The doorbell rang once again.

"That'll be Fern!" Marie smiled.

"I'll get it!" Zara offered. She ran downstairs and opened the big wooden door to Marie's house.

"Your face smells like fruit juice!" Fern said weirdly once Zara opened the door.

"So does yours! Now come upstairs, we need to convince Marie!" Zara whispered so only the two girls could hear.

"I know, she would totally love One Direction if she would give them a chance." Fern agreed.

"Let's go!" Zara screamed and they ran up to Marie's room, where she was looking through her collection of DVDs.

"Hi Marie!" Fern said setting her stuff down in the pile with the other girls'.

"Hey Fern!" Marie smiled.

"What movie are we watching, I brought the popcorn!" Fern said.

"Milo and Otis!" Zara cried.

"No!" Fern and Marie said at the same time. The three girls looked at each other and started to laugh.

"Fine! What are we watching, then?" Zara gave up.

"We are watching Finding Nemo!" Marie said and all three girls cheered.

After the movie

The three girls sat in a circle telling stories.

"I was in my backyard, and I found magical leprochan underwear! I brought them inside to show my parents, and I set them down on the couch. When I came back my dog was sitting on them. I pushed him off, but he had pooed on them!" Fern said and they started laughing.

"Is that a true story?" Marie asked between laughs.

"Yes!" Fern answered, still laughing.

"Ok, Zara, your turn!" Marie said

"Ok, once I had a dream and I was in the woods with Harry Styles from One Direction." Zara started. Marie rolled her eyes. Fern and Zara loved One Direction, but Marie just didn't see what all the hype was about. They're just a boyband.
