Was It Him?

Chapter: 6

Waking up in the morning to the sound of a door knocking.

"Heyy is anybody's here??" A strang man was asking behind the door.

I got off of my bed to wear my jacket to open the door. Once I opened the door I saw an old man standing in front of me.

"Are you the one whose staying here?" He asked.

"Yeah."

" here's an announcement from the owner" I frowned and he hand me a paper. I smiled and closed the door.

The paper says that the building won't belong to the owner anymore and they would shut it down. I have to leave by 1st May.

Where should I go now? Today is already 29th April, I'm doomed I thought to myself.

One of the twins woke up and saw me sitting there looking at the paper and wondering what to do.

"What's wrong lina?" She asked,rubbing her eyes and walking towards me.

"Nothing sweetheart, go dress up and wake up your sister. So you both can help me pack our things" I hugged her because she usually looks cute every single morning .

"Are we moving ? " she muttered through my curly hair.

"Apparently yeah..but where? I still don't know"

Once we all dressed up I went to send the kids to school as usual then directly to the restaurant.

Since I started taking care of the kids, Jones asked me to come to the restaurant at 10 a.m. instead of 5:40 a.m.

When I reached the restaurant I told Jones about the building they are going to shut it down.

"Why don't you tell your dad?" He suggested.

"My dad? Why would you say that?" My dad. Fathers are the ones who stood up next to their daughters and sons, the ones who protect their childrens. And William isn't a father.

"Well your dad is rich. And he owns a big house. He might let you stay with him " he explained. To be honest, he does has a good point but..

"Humm maybe I would call him and ask if I could stay for a couple of days until I find a new apartment " Maybe I should just give a chance. And either way, I'm won't be seeing him so often in his house. I work all day.

"Now you are talking! And so that you find a bigger apartment so you won't have to squeeze between the two girls "

"Yeah " I burst in laugh and he followed me.

Jones' idea seems good but the thing is how am I going to call William and stay at the same house with him?

It's my only way.

In the afternoon I took the two girls to the apartment to changed then I saw some people were actually holding cartoons filled with stuff and clothes.

"Omg " I screamd as I realize those clothes were mine
"Hey there! where are you taking those? It's not 1st of may yet!"

"We know Miss but those are the orders, they asked us to empty the building " he explained. What is wrong with him! They should have warn me before.

"But..." I grabbing the girls' hands and walked fast to my apartment to take what left .
I don't have anything else to do I have no chose but to call William. I stood in my living room and took out my phone then dialed his phone number.

"Hello?" I felt some butterflies in my stomach as I heard his voice.

"Hello William, I need to ask you a faver.. " I was shaking for some reason.
