Was It Him?

Chapter: 7

And it's finally weekend.

Nowadays, Jones gives me days off on weekends so I can take the girls for outings and have some fun together. Luckily Jones hired other workers to help him.

In william's house, Maria and Mira sleeps in a different room whilst I got my own room. I have been staying at William's house for around two weeks until now. I couldn't afford to find a cheap apartment, all of them are too expensive.

I dressed up to see the girls and take them to the cinemas. I took my phone with me in case anyone called. And out of the blue some strange number called me. I was actually hoping if it might be Ben, it's been a long time since we talk.

"Hello? Who is this?" I asked
"It's Ben, Hey Jacqueline " and it was actually Ben, I wonder how did he got my number. "I asked Jones to give me your number, and- " he finished his sentence but then his voice became quite and shy as he said 'and'."And what?" I asked. He pause for awhile so I decided to encourage him.

"I miss you... " he finally spoke . Well I missed him too. But I'm kind of mad from him because he didn't call me since the last time we saw each other. But he is too gentle and kind to be forgotten by me, I can't push him away from my life too. Besides, my reason is pretty silly.

"You do? " I said after few seconds of silence. I walked back to my bed and set on the edge of it.

"Yes I do, Jacqueline. And I was wondering if you could spend your day with me, princess ? " his voice melted my heart, it's been a long time since I got this feelings.

Since today is my day off and I'm actually going to take Mira and Maria out I think it's a good idea to take him too. I mean go out with him and take the girls too.

"Well today is my day off I think it would be great to spend it with you" I voiced my thoughts and I was actually happy to do it.

"Cool!!" He exclaimed. I could feel him grinning.

"But Jones' daughters are coming with me, today is their day off too "

"Oh okay sure! I have the perfect place for four of us" I felt as he was actually smiling when he said it. He seems to be so happy well I did too.

So it turned out that Ben is rich and has his own car. I told him where I was staying so he came and pick us up to the "perfect place " he mention. Apparently the "perfect place" he told me about was just a new mall. It was a big one to be honest. Luckily they had a huge playing ground for kids so I left Mira and Maria there and I got some adult time to spend with Ben.

He,of course, asked why I was taking care of Mira and Maria and why I'm staying in William's house.

I tried to make the story short and I told him everything. As I was explaining the reasons, he suddenly held my hands so tightly. My heart started to race once he did that. I kind of liked it. So I held his hands tightly as well. I felt as if he was glad to see me today and he would do anything to keep me next to him.

"Why did you stop, what happened next?" He asked curiously.

"Sorry I was kind of shocked " I rised my eyebrows and looked at our hands.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, maybe it's still soon for it" he let go his hands when he said that. But I grabbed his hands again and whispered in his ears. " I was shocked because I loved it" .
He kissed my cheek, It was so lovely of him to do that.

After I finished telling him everything he took me to a great restaurant. We set there and eat. Nothing special happened except that he was being gentle all the time.
