Was It Him?

Chapter:14

"H-he was wearing a mask,black mask. And a w-white T-shirt along with a b-black jeans. H-he was so t-tall and skinny. He walked towards me a-and pointed a g-g-gun to my face. H-he asked me to give him the money otherwise he would s-shoot me and I refused so he shot the floor to make me nervous but I was so strong and I defended myself. Everyone in the r-restaurant panic and run away. Then I h-heard some footsteps from my back and I could feel a head g-gun placed on the side of my head and a h-hand holding my wrist so tightly. Another guy was standing behind me he asked me to open the cashier and give him the money.. a-and I'm so sorry, Jacqueline " she broke down and some tears started falling out of her eyes. I hugged her and rubbed her back in circles. "It's really okay,Samantha. Just tell me what happened? I really don't care it wasn't your fault. " I took out some tissues I had in my pocket.

She back off and wiped her tears using the tissues I gave her " I had no choice but to give him the money. I thought they would take it and go away but instead one of them held a bag and rushed to the kitchen. I shouted trying to warn the others inside the kitchen through the window because I glanced at the one holding the bag and he took out a bomb. David saw me and looked at the guy holding the bomb and he was going to throw it over the cooks. I really don't know what happened next because someone knocked me conscious. The next thing I remember is waking up on the floor to the sound of the ambulance bas,everything was crashed so I went to the kitchen and saw them holding David then you came" she cried again because she was so terrified. A gun was pointed to her face twice! Of course she would be so sacred.

I seriously don't care about the money the took because this morning I have already took everything and left few. "That's all? What happened to the other worker? The cooks? How about Albert he called me " I looked around in case someone was there as well.

"Well everyone run away as well no one was brave enough to stay. I don't know what happened to David and the rest in kitchen. And about Albert he was hiding next to me. I asked him to call you but he probably forgot to tell you you should bring the police with you." She explained embracing herself. She was shaking and her head was bleeding. She had a scar on her face probably because she felt too hard on the floor.

I almost forgot about the girls! I told Ben about the restaurant when he told me the girls are missing. I asked him to search for them whilst I see what's happening in here.

"Stay still. I will check out the restaurant " I rubbed her back and stood up to search from Albert. He might be still hiding in there. But first, I went to the ambulance bas to see David. He was so hurt. His shirt was almost burned and his jeans as well. I asked the nurses to take care of him and gave them his parents phone number to call them and informs them.

I walked towards the door which separated the kitchen and the dining room. I turned around to the counter direction. I saw something was moving. I walked slowly and Albert was still there!

"Albert!" He looked so scared and shaking. His eyes were shining and a small smile appeared on the sides of his lips. I set down on the floor to face him. "Jacqueline, you are here" He whispered " Why didn't you asked me to call the police" I,for some reason, was whispering as well. Maybe if I spoke with him in a louder tone it might make him panic.

"I was too afraid and got nervous so I just asked you to come and hang up as soon as I could. But don't worry I called the police already." He explain then I heard the cracks of the door opens. I stood up to see who is there and it was the police.

"They are here" I said looking at them getting in.

"Samantha!" I called her but she didn't came. I went to the kitchen door and sneak out my head to search for her. "Samantha come her. You should get back home and get some rest. Take Albert with you " she stood up and walked towards my direction.

She came to Albert and extended her hand for Albert to hang on to help him to get up. They both walked out the restaurant and I went to talk to the police.

"What did exactly happened? " The policeman asked me while holding a note book and a pen.

I explained everything to him and showed him the kitchen. Luckily there wasn't a lot of damages happened. Only the kitchen got damaged and I'm pretty sure it won't cost me a lot of money.

Since the police already came they told me they will take care of everything. I got off the restaurant to my car. I drove back to the park.

"Any sights of them?" I asked Ben through the phone while driving. "Still searching. I'm really sorry about this I'm pretty sure you are disappointed. I'm really sorry,Jacqueline"

Ben is feeling so guilty because of what happened. But he shouldn't. The twins are so playful and they are kids. I am worried and so stressful but I just have to take a deep breath and hope everything will be okay.

"It wasn't your fault. We will find them eventually. Where are you now?" I stopped the car in front of the park searching for Ben.

"Wait I can see you. I'm coming to you" I saw him walking towards my direction but he was alone. I parked and turned off the car.

Ben was standing few inches away from the car and so I got off of it and walked towards him.

He hugged me tightly once he saw me. "Everything will be okay I promise " he whispered. I let go and scanned the park in hope to see the girls. I smiled at him. "Where's Isabella and William?" I asked confusingly.

"They went to search for them as well. They are searching in the block whilst I am searching at this side" he pointed at the sides they were searching at.

I tear dropped out of my eyes. I was so worried I might not find them. I promised Lina and Jones to take care of them but now they disappeared. Jones will be so disappointed if I didn't find them. I tried to wipe my tears not letting Ben to see them. He would feel sad for me and I don't want that to happen.

We walked towards a pharmacy to asked them if they might have seen Mira and Maria.

We walked to the guy working there. I took out my phone and scroll down in my albums to search for Mira or Maria's picture.

"have you seen any of these girls? They are this hight. Both are blond and has blue eyes" I showed the guy the picture.

He stared at the picture and nodded. I look at Ben and smiles "where? Where did you saw them?" Ben asked him.

"They were walking with a guy. He was tall and wearing brown shirt along with jeans." Finally we have a clue.

My phone vibrate and I take it out of my pocket. An unknown number popped on the screen.

"Get some informations from him. I wanna answer this" I asked Ben and he node.

"Yes who is this?"

"Is this Jacqueline Rose" a rough voice asked me.

"Yes." I walked towards the pharmacy door.

"You have to come to the hospital right now"

Well this is a fast update! Haha it's the first time I reach my goal in two days thank you guys so much! :D I published this because I might take a bit long time to write the next chapter.

I wonder if this novel is someone's favorite novel...
