I wake up to a cry in the night and Jeff groans. I get up and cover Jeff again and kiss his forehead and say
"Don't worry love I'll get it" and he mumbles " thank..you.. " and I walk to lunas room and pick her up and cradle her and walk to the kitchen with Luna held in my arms and I make her a bottle and sit in the rocking chair and I rock her back to sleep while humming
" Boulevard of Broken " dreams by Green Day. The next thing I know I'm passed out
It's morning and Jeffs next to me watching TV in the living room and he says " I saw you asleep in the rocking chair with Luna. You looked so peaceful.. and cute " I blush and say " j-jeff.. s-stawp " in a sassy voice and Jeff smiles and walks to me and ruffles my hair messing it up more. I smile at him and ever sense then me and Jeff take shifts. Jeff does lunas diapers and cleans her and I feed her bottles and put her down for naps. It stays like this for months. Soon a day comes Ill never forget..
It seems like a normal day. Luna isn't a infant anymore she's about a year old now. She has white and black fuzzies on her head where her hairs growing making her look ever so cute and she's playing with building blocks on the floor with me with my little pony playing in the background. Jeff's in the bathroom doing his business when all of a sudden Luna crawls to the couch and stands up and I yell for Jeff
" JEFF HURRY ITS LUNA!!! " And Jeff sprints out the bathroom and looks at Luna and me and jeff walk as Luna takes her first 4 steps and falls in my arms and Jeff and me tear up and praise her. Jeff scoops her up out of my arms and hugs her and says
" Good job honey.. I'm so proud of you.. " and I get up and me Jeff and Luna are in a hug together. In all honesty Luna probably hasn't have a clue whats going on around her and why we are so happy but she will understand someday.
