[Annette]  A male fairy, who was dressed as a bellboy, showed us the way through a tunnel, much like the ones they had back on Earth- attached to a plane so passengers could make their way to the airport with ease.

Only in this case, it was an inter-galactic spaceship, not a passenger airplane. We haven't got a glimpse of the world outside the airport yet.

Just as we stepped out of the tunnel, I heard a female voice announcing, "The flight 556 to Merania is departing in five minutes. Requesting these passengers to report to boarding gate 7."

I saw a family of fairies, whose numerous children were gawking at us a minute before, gathering their luggage hastily and scrambling toward Boarding Gate 7. This was our first sighting of the civilian inhabitants Kronos. The fairies were everything you would expect from fairies- slightly green skin, pointed ears, beautiful nature-themed outfits, and delicate wings.

One of the fairies, a girl, who looked about my age (if ageing worked the same way here), winked and flashed us a thumbs up. I blinked once, and decided that if I'd known her better, she would've definitely been my best friend.

I couldn't ponder over this matter for longer, for Zephyr was already hustling us inside a busy beverages bar near gate 5. I wondered what sort of strange concoctions these aliens would call a drink- I don't know if it would even be safe to drink something from outer space!

However, as I stepped into the bar, I was confronted with the smell of freshly brewed coffee mixed with a strange, sugary smell I didn't recognize. Looking at the rows and rows of sweets lined up on the shelves, inhaling the tantalizing aromas of freshly baked goods, I realized how horribly hungry I was- I hadn't eaten anything ever since I left Earth- I don't know how I managed.

"Hey, what's the time in Paris, Zephyr?" I ask him, curious about how long I've been here.

"It's 4 AM in Paris, France," said an automated female voice coming from nowhere- I didn't know Siri followed us here!

"Wait, but it was around 3:30 AM when I was sucked into the portal, we can't have been here for only 30 minutes!" I protest.

"No, you haven't been here for only 30 minutes, Annie, you've been here for a day and 30 minutes." Zephyr replied calmly.

"That means I haven't eaten for a day?!" I shouted, beginning to panic.

Just before the situation could get out of control, Kairi handed me a glazed donut, and asked, "Iced Mocha or Vanilla Frappuccino?"

My jaw moved back and forth like a fish, and the words didn't come out- I had just read the sign hanging above me.

'STARBUCKS COFFEE'

"Wha- But- How-" I sputtered, trying to process what I was seeing.

"Annie, it's STARbucks- get it? Star? It's available throughout the universe." Sahana explained to me, as she received her salted caramel coffee.

The explanation could wait- I was ravenous. I just grabbed the Vanilla Frappuccino Kairi was holding out to me, and took a bite of my glazed donut.

It tasted...different somehow- something about the sugar wasn't familiar- it had fruity notes and a much richer flavor than what we get back on Earth.

"Do you like the glaze?" Zephyr asked me.

"The sugar is a bit different, it has a richer flavor, compared to the sugar back on Earth." I began.
