A year and a month ago...

My best friends slash roomies are looking at me weirdly. I choose to ignore their stares. I'm stressed as it is, not to mention I'm grumpy as fuck because of that stupid jock.

Ugh. Block that thought, Louisse.

"Hindi ka na naman umuwi kagabi 'no?" Kim Talavera, one-third of our trio, asks as she grabs her bag on the sofa.

"Yup," I huff, not offering more information.

"Sa'n ka natulog?" Jamie Navarro, the youngest in our trio, pipes in as she slumps on the sofa, munching on her pandesal.

"Sa car ko," I grumble. What's with the questions?

"Ew! Pumasok ka wearing your party clothes?" J asks, her face scrunching in disgust. I glare at her. She makes a face to irritate me more.

I just shake my head and grab my bag. "I gotta go! Baka ma-late pa ako!" I say as I straighten my top. J and K both stand up. "Sabay kami!"

I just shrug. Fine. I don't wanna talk anymore. I'm PMS-ing, hungover...basically in a shitty mood and my friends won't stop bugging me.

As we step outside of our apartment, I remember the time when I first met these two mofos. It is at the bookstore in our school. There was a screaming match inside. Jamie was arguing with a girl about some book. She kept on spewing insults about that 'vampire story with a Disney ending'. Turns out, the girl she was arguing with was a huge fan of that book.

I can still remember every single word she says to that girl and what that girl said to Jamie.

"Ate, ang pangit naman ng taste mo! Vampire na love triangle? Pinag-aagawan ng dalawang gwapong bampira yung malanding babae? Wala namang redeeming qualities yung babae! Magkapatid ang nag-away para lang sa kanya! Ew!" I was just standing three feet away from them, watching.

"Mas malala naman yung gusto mo! Humahalik sa werewolf habang may karelasyong vampire! What a cheater! Bitch!" You can tell even from afar that the girl was fuming mad.

"Hindi siya cheater! Na-carry away lang siya at umamin naman siya sa boyfriend niya! Pinatawad siya! Ba't ka ba nangingialam ha?" Jamie countered.

"E pinakikialaman mo rin yung gusto kong book!"

Jamie got in her face. "Pangit kasi 'yon!"

The girl was about to hit Jamie with the says book when suddenly a girl showed up. It is Kim with her hands raised. "Wait lang!" She pointed at the bookshelves in front of them. "Excuse me lang! Padaan po! Kukunin ko lan—"

"Tumabi ka sa harap ko! Sasamaan ka rin sa 'kin tulad ng jologs na 'yan!" said the girl while pointing at Jamie. I have to say the girl was right—Jamie looked jologs that time. She was wearing Crocs in school for God's sake!

Kim shook her head. "Naku! Sorry po! Saglit lang po talaga! Aabutin ko lang po yung boo-ah!" She screamed when the girl raised her hand, about to throw the book at Kim instead.

"Hey! Stop!" I shouted...just in time for the bookstore's manager to see us.

"You four! Get out! Ginugulo n'yo ang bookstore ko! Banned na kayo rito!"

I chuckle at the memory. Jamie looks at me funny. "Weird mo. Badtrip ka kanina tapos bigla kang tumatawa d'yan." Nagsalita ang master of all weirdos.
