Cher ignored Andy eversince that meeting and he of course noticed that right away but all he can do is give her space. He still tries to invite him for house hunting and for meals but she always declines.
The wedding came and they did not go together. Andy came with Cara and Cher came alone because she is a part of the entourage. For the whole ceremony, they wasn't able to see each other but when the ceremony is finished, that's when she saw them.
"Hey, Cher, you okay?"A voice asked all of a sudden that made her snap out of her thoughts.
"Uhmm yes, let's prepare for the uhm reception."She answered with a half smile.
"I thought you and Andy are each other's plus one?"One of her friends suddenly asked and she just shrugged her shoulders.
"Cher. Cherilyn."A voice suddenly called for her as she start walking but she just kept on walking.
"Talk to me, Cherilyn."He uttered once again and he held onto her wrist.
"What do you want?"She asked, looking at him.
"I just want us to talk."He uttered.
"What are we going to talk about?"She asked.
"What is wrong?"He asked softly.
"Why would I tell you if I'm okay or not?Go with Cara. Just stay away from me."She said sternly before pulling her wrist from him and walking away.
"Andy."A voice called for him after a few moments that made him spun around.
"Yeah?"He asked.
"You okay?"That same person asked.
"I am not. I love her, Cara, I love her so much."He said almost a whisper but she heard it.
"Then why did you let her walk away like that?I never walked away from you, Andy. Even if you were the one who decided to end our relationship, I never walked away."Cara uttered.
"She let me walk away when I had to move to Florida, Cara. She walked away for me. She have always walked away FOR me when I needed to walk away. That is how selfless she is."Andy uttered.
"You are selfless too, I see that. But you can't judge her with just what you see because you do not know the story."He added and that made her look down.
"If you love her, why are you not together now?Why are you letting her walk away?"Cara asked all of a sudden.
"Because I am afraid that I might walk away again and that I will hurt her again because she have to walk away from me."He answered.
"C'mon, I'll just give her space. Lorraine is one of her closest friends and it is her wedding. Let's just give space to Cher and let her have fun."Andy uttered.
"I'm gonna need to step back now, Andy. I know you love her."Cara said and Andy shook her head.
"Don't leave me here, please?"Andy asked and she let out a sigh.
"After this, I'm stepping back."Cara said softly and Andy just nodded.
For the rest of the night, Cher tried her best to unwind and enjoy her friends wedding and what's the best way to distract yourself? Drinking.
"Cher, cher, do you wanna do shots?"A voice asked her as she finish her vodka and she eagerly nodded.
"A tequila shot, please?"She asked and they quickly ran to the bar.
"That is so good!"Cher exclaimed after taking her shot.
"Can I have one more, please?"She asked the bartender and they quickly gave her a tequila shot.
