Cher headed home after everything that happened to her in her day at work and she just felt super drained than usual. She kicked off her shoes before changing into her house clothes which is only an oversized shirt and her comfortable cotton panties with socks. She ordered take-outs for dinner and she grabbed all her paperworks that she took home before sitting on her sofa to review all the evidences that she gathered that day.

Her doorbell rang all of a sudden and she grabbed her wallet thinking that it is her dinner. She opened the door right away and it made her jaw drop.

"Hi, I found your place."The man uttered.

"H-Hi?"She said softly and he slowly looked down.

"Oh shit. Can you wait for about a second?"She asked before she ran to her room to at least put on her sweatpants.

"So hi, how did you find me, mr. Garcia?"She asked once she's back at the door.

"I tracked you down."He answered that made her forehead crease.

"Just because you wanted to take me out on a dinner?"She asked and he laughed.

"Yes, and because I'll be your co-council."He answered and she raised a brow.

"Co-council where?"She asked in total confusion.

"The Maxwell case?Mrs. Maxwell asked me to be your co-council because I am their company's lawyer."He answered and she slowly nodded.

"O-oh. C-Come in."Cher said and he smiled.

"I am currently working on it actually because our private investigator and I are gathering some evidence that may lead to murder and not suicide."Cher explained as they both walk to her living room.

"I collected some of his transactions that I can get my hands on and I am hoping it can help."He uttered as he sit on the sofa beside her.

"I already called the two assistants that mrs. Maxwell told me about and they said that they can meet me tomorrow but my only problem is the son, Ronnie. Do you know anything about him?"Cher asked as she read the new papers that he brought.

"Ronnie is his estranged son from his first wife. Mr. Maxwell still gives him money but Mr. Maxwell doesn't really want anything from him because of his drug addiction and he even went to jail for robbery."Andy explained.

"Why were they fighting?"Cher asked.

"I think it is because of the company's money. He found out that if his father died, because he already have a heart failure, the money will be split among his step-mother which is Mrs. Maxwell, her half-brother, and ten percent of the company shares is for his assistants and that enraged him big time."Andy answered.

"But mrs. Maxwell said that he also had a fight with his assistants."Cher said

"That is the thing that I don't know yet."Andy said and Cher nodded with a hum.

"So you handle mostly companies?"Cher asked all of a sudden.

"Uhmm yeah, I am currently a lawyer of five companies that's why when mrs. Maxwell talked to me I said that I can only be a co-council because I don't really do much cases that are like this."Andy answered.

"You don't take pro bono cases?Murder cases?"Cher asked.

"I rarely get my hands on them because of the companies I'm handling."Andy answered and Cher nodded with a hum.

"How about you?Do you handle a lot of cases like this?"Andy asked.

"Yeah. I like cases that are like a murder mystery game that's why our private investigator and I are close because we investigate together and I love searching for strong evidences that I can use in court."Cher answered.
