Laws of Attraction IV

Defeaning silence filled the room with an unconscious body and another body that is trying to gain all his strength to help her. He groaned as he feel the sharp pain on his back and even on his face but still, he crawled to where she is and started calling for her.

"Cher, wake up, please?Wake up."He uttered and he roamed his eyes around the room to find a telephone or a phone. When he found one, he called an ambulance right away and he just held onto her body until help came.

"Sir, what's your relationship to the patient?"A paramedics asked right a way the moment they reached her apartment. He watched them carry her body out and he breathed in and breathed out.

"My girlfriend."He answered and he slowly stood up.

"Okay, sir, we are going to take you to the hospital because you are also injured."Another person uttered and he just became speechless.

The moment they reached the hospital, they guided him to a separate room to also aid him while they assist her. He waited and he waited until a doctor approached him and the doctor explained what happened to her. A broken nose, a bruised body, a wound on the head, and a fractured arm. They transferred her to a private room for recovery and he held her hand.

"Wake up, please?"He whispered as he kiss her hand and he sat beside her bed.

"Hey, I'm just here. I will not leave you. I will not let that asshole get near you again."He uttered and he just sat there, holding her hand, saying some positive things even if he is not sure if she can hear him.

Hours passed and she is still not awake. He fell asleep beside her, not letting go of her hand. A movement is made after a few more hours and she groaned. She tried moving her body but it felt like her body is paralyzed. She slowly opened her eyes and white ceiling welcomed her.

"Cher?"A voice called for her and she used all her strength to at least turn her head.

"A-Andy?"She whispered.

"Hi, you're awake."He uttered with a smile.

"I can't feel my body."She whispered.

"Don't force yourself. You're still recovering."He said and he stood up to kiss her forehead.

"What happened to your face?"She weakly asked.

"Don't mind my face."He answered.

"What important is you."He whispered and he moved some of her hair from her face.

"You want anything?Breakfast?You hungry?"Andy asked.

"I want this pain to be gone."Cher answered.

"Good morning, ma'am, sir. I am here for my morning rounds."A voice suddenly uttered and it is a nurse.

"Hi, good morning."Andy greeted and the nurse started checking her IV line.

"Ma'am, I will just give you your medications including your pain reliver and your doctor will check on you later."The nurse said and Andy is the one who nodded for her.

The nurse left after a few moments and Andy started massaging her hand where the IV line is inserted because he saw her wince while the nurse was injecting her medications.

"Do you want anything?"Andy asked.

"Can you adjust my bed?"She asked and he did it right away.

"Come here, sit beside me."Cher uttered and Andy sat on the chair beside her bed.

"Can you represent me?"Cher asked all of a sudden.

"Where?"Andy asked as he continue to massage her hand.
